Vomiting and bad stomach

Hi all,

I started wegovy 5 weeks ago. I started 0.25mg and lost 11lbs in the first month. I felt a bit nauseous but thats all. Then after a month I moved up to 0.5mg. 5 days later I had terrible vomiting and diarrhoea. It was bad I could not go to work. It lasted a day.

I went to the hairdressers and she told me theres been a terrible stomach big going round. Im due to take my jab tomorrow and worried. Do you think it was the jab or the stomach bug? Im just getting back to normal from Thursdays ill ness.

Obv I’m not a medic so this is just my tuppence worth. I think it would be less typical for vomiting/diarrhoea to kick in five days after the jab. If it were me, I’d be disinclined to stop the injections because of this. So purely from my opinion, I’d persevere for another month. If you have a recurrence, there’s your answer.

one episode of D&V in 5 weeks would lead me to think it wasn’t the W. That said, what did you eat?

Yes i am going to persevere for another week. Perhaps it could be a bug that's going round. My hairdresser said a lot of her clients had it this week. Or food poisoning.
