Meal replacement shakes and WLI?

BerfyTigot · Yesterday 20:58

Is anyone using milkshakes (eg Fast Diet 800, which are pretty low in sugar compared to some) alongside weight loss injections or pills?

Thinking of using them for breakfast and lunch but then having a small evening meal. Anyone have any experience?

I’ve been having the Slimfast protein shakes. Strawberry flavour, one for breakfast and one for lunch, then a small dinner. 2 apples per day for snacks. Seem to be losing ok.

The only issue with this is, it’s not a sustainable diet long term.

I bought the Purition starter pack , had difficulty telling one flavour from another.

Their “natural and subtle” is my “bland and tasteless”.

After reading lots on here I decided that the main thing I wanted while on WLI was to re-educate myself and create new food habits. So I've changed what I eat, upped protein and dropped carbs. It's worked well for me and hopefully means that I won't gain weight long term.

I personally wouldn't go for meal replacement because I wouldn't want to do that long term.

I have a ufit iced latte for breakfast most days. I do try and eat food rather than too many shakes etc. But if I know I'm likely to miss a meal or have a high suppression day (doesnt happen so much now) then I'll have a ready made Yfood meal replacement shake either the chocolate or cold brew flavours. They're more balanced in terms of nutrition.
