I don’t feel any different- Wegovy

I started Wegovy 3 weeks ago, it’s a bit cheaper than Mounjaro so I thought I’d give it a go. I don’t feel any different at all, still hungry, not full. I’ve lost 2lbs although I think the first lb was just weight fluctuation, I’d only been on it a few days. Last 10 days I’ve lost absolutely nothing. I know Wegovy is going to be slower than Mounjaro but I’m quite disappointed so far. I’m beginning to wonder if I should have just gone for mounjaro. Anyone else had the same experience?

0.25 is just the starting dose. I'd go up to 0.5 and if that does nothing, switch to MJ.

What’s your BMI / how much do you have to lose?

33 , need to lose maybe 3 stone although 2 would make a big difference!

I didn’t find Wegovy made any real difference to my food noise or fullness. I went up to 1.7mg with no results, but that is roughly the same price as the lowest dose of MJ, which does have a great effect.

I'm sure I read that 1.7mg wegovy is the therapeutic dose. Some report 1mg works for weight loss. Definitely keep moving up as at the lowest dose and only 3 weeks in, you haven't even reached peak drug concentration in blood yet. Each dose reaches its peak around 4 weeks in.

Definitely go up a dose and do a full month on 0.5mg before you judge (it has an accumulative effect so needs to build up in your system) if by the end of a month on 5mg you aren't noticing feeling very different then switch to MJ. Don't lose heart, not everyone has these amazing results immediately...for a lot of people it's a slow burn (those are the stories you don't hear a lot about)
