Did anyone catch the latest episode from Zoe Nutrition? They covered how to eat before, during and after the injections. Nothing surprising if you’re a long term Zoe listener, but still interesting.

What kind of things did they say?

I thought it was interesting but on a bit of a zoe agenda..the 'pre wli eating' and the protein pyramid stood out for me although i thought it was heavily geared towards those with a smaller amount to lose (?3/4 stone or less) and who hadnt been big 'all' their lives. Mel Robbins has recently put out a podcast with an American (well mexican originally) doctor who specialises in obesity, metabolic disorders and endocrinology which i found very interesting. On reflection, i think the two together make a good read. The american has used wlis herself..some of the zoe felt much more 'professional hcw' speak.

@MoneyJo , it's (zoe) an hour and five min interview so i'd recommend listening or reading the transcript

I agree it was very Zoe! I was all in a few years ago, did the test kit and everything.

I thought the most interesting part was the emphasis on nutritionally dense food whilst taking the jabs and then thinking about how you will get your volume in your diet once you're off the jabs.

Yes that was also useful, i dont know there was just something about her i didnt warm to, and he annoys me immensely. I have preordered the Appetite Reset book though...will be reading it on a small boat cruise around skye..fully catered and wined..but not very WLI! A week's cleaner food on return and will finally start. That injection from March is still in the fridge. I have lost 6kg since then though but i need to accelerate the process. I need 2 new knees and the surgeon wants me 20kg lighter..i want to be 40kg..heyho

I thought it was excellent and agree with you about those being the two most interesting takeaways.

It reminded me of the old Weight Watchrrs 'and up to 16 oz of vegetables daily' from the 1980s and Prof Roy Taylor's intial 500 calorie trial with 12 diabetics in Ncl..they could eat up to 16 oz veg daily too. What goes around comes around..what works works eh?
