5 day timetable

Does anyone inject every 5 days? I am finding the effects really wear off after 5. since I read that in the trials it was a 5 day schedule and only changed to 7 due to non compliance as patients couldn’t remember, I am tempted to move to 5 days rather than go up a dose

I have been thinking about this too! Day 5, it's very noticeable & by day 6 I am back to really having to use will power like before, so much so I am counting down the hours til I can jab again!

JojoButBetter · 18/06/2026 18:56

I have been injecting every 5th day. Getting on fine.

I had an awful habit of binge eating my 5th / 6th day which was doing me no favours.

Has anyone done every 5 or 6 days on 12.5/15?

had to stop abruptly after 4st loss over 8 months on 12.5

restarted 2.5 month later due to 1st gain have now lost it but after 5 months on, but now on 12.5 im stuck (restarted on 2.5 due to the time gap. not lost any weight for several weeks just bouncing up and down 1-2 lb and was hoping 12.5 would do the trick but it’s the opposite) and its not doing much so considering reducing days or split dosing 12.5 plus 2.5 or reducing days as still have 2st too loose and the food noise is a struggle!

The recommendation is at least 72 hours between doses.... I've read. But also I've read not to split doses as that's not how the medication works. It sounds like you need to go up in your dose?

AmberLime · 18/06/2026 21:26

I inject daily 🙂

6 clicks from a 15mg pen (1.5mg) every day - which is 10.5mg over 7 days.

I find the stability of dosing daily helps

(Doesn't help with all the red marks from injection sites tho)

AmberLime · 18/06/2026 21:29

I should say I was previously on 10mg weekly, so what I'm doing is just splitting up that dose.

The only biological affect of that is less up and down in levels in your bloodstream.

JojoButBetter · 18/06/2026 21:29

@AmberLime that sounds great. Did you get approval from provider or just figured out what works best for you?

SacredCunt · 18/06/2026 21:31

I inject 2 x a week, 2.5mg every 3.5 days. I’ve found this a much more stable regime than the peak and trough of doing 1 x 5mg a week.

AmberLime · 18/06/2026 21:38

I just figured it out myself.

I've been taking 10mg per week from 15mg pens for a while. I noticed I'd under-eat for 4 days and lose 3 or 4 lb, then put 2 or 3lb back on for the next 3 days. Which overall was giving me around 1-2lb loss per week, but I didn't like the pattern that was linked to "jab day". So i wanted a solution that removed having a "jab day".

I use Juniper, who allow 8 weekly orders without issue. I have a £75 new customer voucher code if anyone is interested.

Plenty split doses on low doses mainly due to maintainance or due to SE . I’ve read a while back about someone who didn’t have success all the way through until they split 10/5 every 3.5 days .
I’ve done reduced days before and it does wonders but only done it on low doses (up to 7.5) when starting second time and around holidays first round

appreciate all the responses I’m considering reducing to 6 days this week (third 12.5mg) and see if it makes a difference if not I’m considering lowering to 10mg and doing 10/2.5 for a week just to see how my body reacts , just conscious of not overdosing on high dose as I never went up to 15mg but so want to shift the last bit and hoping I haven’t become immune to MJ after 15 months (with that 2.5 month break)

yes I know eat more protein drink more water move more etc but MJ mainly has made a difference on food noise/choice of food for me and regretting every day of stopping first time when I was loosing steadily, MJ doing a perfect job but circumstances didn’t allow it . In the end of the day MJ cost a lot of money and potentially impact on health in future and only want to stay on it when it works

@AmberLime what is your weight loss like now with the daily jabbing? Where do you get the extra syringes from, im with medexpress and they only send 5 syringes per order

£5 for 100 tips. Bulk buying the antiseptic wipes is a similar cost. You can buy both these things from all main chemists.

My weight loss is much slower now, that's because I'm 7st down and only 4lb from BMI 25. I'm aiming for maintenance so looking for more consistency.

I experienced that on 3.75 and 5. Did 6 days then 5 days for a while. However been on 7.5 every 7 days now since beginning of Dec and don't feel it wearing off on day 5/6 any longer. For now anyway I think 7.5mg is my dose. My joint pain etc is also the absolute best its been for years.
