Starting Mounjaro - how quickly is it approved and delivered?

Going ahead with starting Mounjaro. I’m going to order today. How quick do they process? What can I expect moving forward? Will they contact me for photos/wait for approval?
How long did it take for you?
if I decide to move up to my next dose next month is it easy to process?

Or do you recommend using another company? I’d like to start asap!

Which company are you going to use?

Most places, you fill out the form, then either upload the necessary id or photos then. Sometimes you wait until they email you asking for them. Or book a video appointment, if that’s what they do. Depends entirely on each company as to how that works. Then it will take somewhere between a day and 3 to 5 days to be approved, again depending on the company. Some may not look at a weekend order till Monday. Once approved, it may then take a day to process and then 24 to 48 hours to be delivered depending on what service they use.

Moving up a dose is the same as staying on the same dose. You just fill out the consultation again, some companies pre fill it with your previous answers, and then the approval/delivery process happens.

I used med express for my first few orders I found them pretty quick. Bolt and Lotus also have been quick. Have used 3 suppliers in total staying with lotus as they do loyalty discount and a support app with recipes and workouts etc.

I've only used swift doctor so far. Filled in the medical forms, scanned ID and had to upload a video of me saying the date then showing my body from front and side in close fitting clothing, then standing on scales. I did this at about 11am and 8:30 the next morning the delivery driver was at my door! He just left it at the door! The packing was plain, brown but the delivery label did have the sender as 'swift doctor, yorkshire etc'.

I only started in May and joined the 'May starters mounjaro' thread, so see if there is a Jun one to join. I've found it very supportive and helpful to chat to others going through the same.

I change provider each month depending on who is cheaper on monj.co.uk but all four so far have delivered really quickly.

@LibbyL92 don’t be nervous. It’s all a bit of an anti climax really. The first injection seems like a big deal, but then you do it and just…. nothing’s different straight away! Then hopefully you’ll just start to notice your appetite reducing and feeling fuller quicker and for longer. Then you’ll see the weight shifting on the scales with any luck.

Have you got a lot of weight to lose?
