Where does everyone get their injections from? Best prices and any discount codes. Really want to get started asap. Thanks

I think this site seems to be what people use to work out the best place to buy from - https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

Firesidechatter · 08/06/2026 17:20

Here is a list of registered pharmacies where you can buy and rhe prices.

Thank you, I was thinking of using Wegovy. Is there a similar list of prices for Wegovy? Unfortunately I don't have anyone in real life to talk to

Hi @Davina1234: if you look at the mounjaro website linked, you can also see Wegovy prices there

With offers etc 1st month is around £60 for Wegovy & then 80-100£ after that depending on dose

I chose Wegovy as its cheaper & it’s working well for me so far

It’s really hard when you have no one to discuss it with and confusing - I have a couple of friends on WLI which gave me the info to start

WeAllHaveWings · 08/06/2026 19:29

Igovy.co.uk will also show you Wegovy prices if you are comparing.

https://onlinedoctor.asda.com/uk/wegovy-vs-mounjaro-vs-ozempic.html

is quite a good summary between the two.

Ask any questions post on here op and you’ll get (mostly) helpful people.

I’ve just started with Voy and I think I can give you a referral code.

Mysticmaiden · 08/06/2026 20:18

www.igovy.co.uk for wegovy comparison.

Firesidechatter · 08/06/2026 21:08

I’m on mounjaro but I started before the price increases, if I was starting now I’d absolutely try wegovy first. The odds are it works for you.

@Davina1234 it’s worth being aware that some providers are a subscription model, like Voy, where you might sign up for 3, 6 or 12 months and face a cancellation fee if you want to change providers sooner. They can also be a lot more expensive than the ordinary pharmacies from the second order onwards as you no longer have the large new customer discount. So always worth checking what you are signing up for, how to cancel and if there’s a cancellation fee.

I’d really like to start but am so worried about the hair loss. I already suffer with quite bad hair shed and worried this will make it worse?! Has anyone got any advice? Thanks

TheChosenTwo · 10/06/2026 21:57

@Rantypanties i lost quite a lot of hair for a substantial amount of time but I lost 1st a month for 3 months consecutively before it slowed to a more sustainable loss. Fortunately I did have a lot of thick hair to begin with so it was all okay but I lost a lot over a period of about 6-8 months. Had blood tests not long ago and everything was normal.

SilenceInside · 10/06/2026 21:57

@Rantypanties hair loss can happen with any weight loss process, it’s a risk with losing weight. People will suggest trying to keep the weight loss slow and ensuring good nutrition plus suggesting various supplements, but sometimes it happens anyway. It’s nearly always self resolving and sorts itself out after a few months.

I had hair loss after about 3 months which resolved after another 3 months and nothing since. I’ve also lost 11 stone.

Rantypanties · 11/06/2026 08:23

Thank you @TheChosenTwo and @SilenceInside i appreciate your thoughts and honesty! I’m currently 90kg and carry all the weight on my chest/belly so look like a spider with skinny arms and legs. It’s really getting me down.

im looking for a mild food suppressant (as portion size is my biggest problem) and a slow/steady weight loss so maybe this will ease the shock of the hair loss!?!

VividDeer · 11/06/2026 08:28

I went with medexpress as I didn't want to be tied in (like with voy), until I knew I got on with it.
I now spend £60 per month as inject half of the 0.5 dose and have stayed on lowest dose. Money well spent!

Same. I'm on low dose maintenance now so it's no big deal, probably costs me similarly to Wegovy anyway. But yes, if I were starting from scratch now I would definitely consider Wegovy over MJ.

AMumOfOne1 · 13/06/2026 22:38

@Davina1234 dont be discouraged. Do you have any other questions?

I’ve recently been using MedEazy.co.uk for comparing both Mounjaro and Wegovy. I’d recommend (not affiliated btw, just impressed and like having everything on one site). If you’re like me, it’s a good resource to bookmark. Keep asking away!
