Light-headedness and dizziness

This morning I have been feeling really light headed and dizzy, particularly when I stand up. I used to have low blood pressure before I put on so much weight so I'm wondering if as I lose weight that might be an issue again. Or could it be something jab related?

Has anyone else had this?

How has your eating habits changed? Are you still eating and drinking enough to keep your blood sugars regulated?

I only get dizzy and light headed when I haven’t eaten enough the day before.

I ate around 1000 calories yesterday - drank lots, focused on protein. Bit lower than usual.
I don't usually eat breakfast (not an MJ thing, just have never been a breakfast person) but today I had a banana and some seeds and felt much better after so perhaps it was that.

Yes I had light headed ness and head rushes throughout my MJ use. When I stopped it went away within 2 weeks.

1000 calories isn’t enough to fuel an adult human body adequately. MJ itself won’t cause these symptoms but it’s highly likely they are related to your minimal calorie intake, o would up the calories to a more reasonable amount and if you still get this see your GP

As I said yesterday it's lower than I usually eat.

Right, so it could be the reason?

MoneyJo · 21/05/2026 16:47

Yes it could. That's why I was asking about other people's experiences. It's not the first day I've eaten around 1000 but it's not the norm either, and it's the first time I've felt like that so I was interested to hear if anyone else had experienced it, in case it was just jab related and not food intake.

Yes, I often skip breakfast but I try to eat something by 11am.

I think if these symptoms are becoming more frequent, you need to ensure you have access to an easy quick snack first thing in the morning.

I found those nutty protein balls are very handy to grab in the mornings and solve the problem.

Mj gives me head rushes when I stand up, I see stars. I've never had issues with blood pressure before and it only started when I went up to 5mg. I just try to remember to get up slowly!!

MoneyJo · 22/05/2026 22:12

That's really interesting @PearlsTeapot

I had this a couple of times early on 😅 mostly when I hadn’t eaten or drunk enough water. I’m with an online clinic and mentioned it in the weekly app check-ins, and they were actually really helpful and kept an eye on things with clinical oversight. I liked that they do proper screening and biomarker monitoring too, it made me feel a bit calmer 🙂
