Body aches after first Mounjaro dose, or just a coincidence?

Took my 1st dose of mounjaro last night, about 8pm. Woke up this morning & my God I ache!
Started in my shoulders & upper back.... tbh I just thought I might have slept funny. But it's now from my shoulders to my knees.
My whole body feels like a bruise to touch.
No nausea, no upset tummy, no suppression. I am certainly not disappointed but the aches have thrown me, it's not a side effect I've seen discussed here or other forums.

Is it just coincidence & something else?

Bumping for you. I found the opposite and it took my aches and pains away!

Where did you inject?

I got awful body aches after first few doses! Like I’d done an extreme work out. It eased off quickly and doesn’t happen now.

Me too. Took a few weeks but it went away. Apparently it can be made worse through dehydration so make sure you're drinking enough.

Yes I had that in my shoulders the first time. It only happened once and I think it was an inflammatory response. Overall, and quickly it has reduced a lot of inflammation I used to have.

Thanks, sometimes when injecting into the top of an arm you can hit the wrong spot.

My first few months on Mounjaro were very rough. I felt like I had flu at times, lots of muscle soreness, sickness, cycles of upset tummy and headaches.

I wanted to quit it so badly but nothing else worked so I stuck with it.

I was beginning to think it was all in my head, either that or I did an extreme workout in my sleep! 🤣

Mind you, if I did the latter I wouldn't need the MJ!
