Fiber easy wins

Anyone want to share ‘fibrous’ tips? I’m into my second month of WeGovy and starting to think properly about fiber for the first time in my life (!). I just found out that by adding 50g raspberries to my usual breakfast of museli and Greek yoghurt I can add 3.5g fiber, more than doubling the fiber content, for only 25 calories and it tastes delicious too!

Any other easy wins to share anyone?

Cinnamon is a really easy win. A teaspoon of ground cinnamon has 1.6g fibre. Calories are pretty much not worth counting, I think it's about 5 per teaspoon.

Kiwi, particularly if you can eat the skin as well, are a good source of soluble and insoluble fibre. Golden kiwi are almost as good as the green ones if like me you find the green ones to be vile!

I eat homemade soup most days, that definitely helps but gets a bit boring sometimes.

I add chia and golden flaxseed to everything I can. They fill me up more and add a good dose of fibre. Just had some in cottage cheese as part of my lunch but I also add them to any yogurt I eat or even to scrambled eggs.

I second chia and flaxseeds. I add them to my greek yoghurt and fruit.

Strawberries, 150g is 5.5g fibre, and the size of some of the strawberries currently, doesn't take much to get them and about 45 calories

I have a pint of water every day with a heaped teaspoon of psyllium husk and one of Inulin. Adds about 12g of fibre in one go. After decades of sluggish digestion, I have honestly never felt better.
