I have been on MJ for nearly 5 months now and I think the hair loss has really kicked into gear.
I am in a minefield of DHT blockers and serums but can anyone recommend what has actually worked for them?

Following with interest, im a few months along from you and have lost a lot of hair, and have some small whispy bits growing back. I've started using minoxidil this week so will see how that goes.

Keep your protein up.

Eta i dont actually have experience with mounjaro but protein and iron if necessary definitely help.

I am probably eating more protein now than I ever have in my life. 😅

I take these

Do you think they help? I get my collagen from nutrition geeks.

Initially when I had hair loss I started taking Collagen, I added a multivitamin and then biotin, I also started taking pumpkin seed oil. My hair has grown back very thick now but I don’t know which supplement helped so I have to keep taking them all as I’m still on Mounjaro and don’t want to risk it falling out again. I rattle when I walk but I feel great 😆

I currently take biotin, collagen, multivitamin with iron, omega 3, and vitamin d. there are some bits growing back in but it’s very sparse at the moment. Patience is not my strong point!

Im afraid I cant really answer that in terms of hair loss from wli, I'm a newbie & my hair loss wasn't due to them. But it def helped with my hair loss previously. I am continuing to take them now im on mounjaro in hope that I dont lose a lot again!

I get a lot of breakage at the front (right where you don’t want it) since peri began in earnest. I’m taking collagen but also using champo hair serum and trying not to use heat or even tie my hair up Nearly as much (fortunately I work somewhere that I can wear a hat most days and it doesn’t matter that much if I’d look like Hagrid hair wise). It does help but it’s not quick.

Time. I lost quite a bit in the first 8/10 months but then it just started to grow back, in fact it was the regrowth that made me realise how much I had actually lost. I didn’t use any supplements and 18 months later my hair is almost back to normal (the regrowth should match the length after another haircut or two)!

you know its not the MJ per se, its the body going into shock, just like postpartum hair loss. It will come back. Mine did after MJ but I helped things along with initial weekly then still fortnightly biotin injections. Very cheap to buy from french pharmacy online. No different than doing MJ jab really.
