18 months on Mounjaro and not losing

Looking for other non-losers!
I’ve been on Mounjaro for 18 months now. I had a period in the middle where I lost some weight (about 2.5 stone). Then I stopped losing altogether about 9 months ago. I’ve since put on half a stone.
My current dose is 10mg. My BMI is 29.
I feel very disheartened. I’m in a lovely group elsewhere on mumsnet who we’ve shared our journey with from the start. I’m the only one who hasn’t reached their goal and has actually gained. I feel like I’m some freak.
Anyone else like this?

@Polkadotdash
I don't know if this will help you or not. I have lost weight at a snails pace, but on I plod and am now 103 pounds down. I am on 15mg MJ. I have never had suppression. I am very lucky to have never experienced "food noise" either.

I am 9 pounds away from a healthy BMI (a comfortable size 14 and aged 55).
I don't count calories and never will. I eat 2 meals a day (so time restricted eating/intermittent fasting). MJ (in my opinion and experience) has done something - in that while I am clearly not a super responder, I have nevertheless lost a lot of weight. My way of eating is keto/very low carb, so while I don't count calories, I realised early on that my insulin resistance was through the roof and I seriously needed to get it under control. My body cannot deal with refined carbs of any kind and I can't eat sugar (at all) if I want to lose weight. BUT I do eat a lot - high protein, lots of good fats and tonnes of vegetables. I would describe my appetite as good -- I get hungry, I eat satiating foods which keep me full. I never feel the need to snack and if I want something sweet (i.e greek yoghurt/dark choc, very occasional berries) I eat it at the end of a meal, while my insulin levels are spiked.

I am losing weight so slowly now, and ticking along - about 2 pounds a month, but my way of eating is great and I love it and feel fantastic. The best I have felt in decades actually.

I am starting to be mindful of maintenance, hence me happening upon this thread. My advice, for what it is worth, ditch the focus on calories and starving yourself to the point that you feel weak/deprived/despondent and look at insulin resistance (if you have not done so already). I have to have a way of eating (as we all do) that can see me through life with either a min dose of MJ or no MJ and I have decided that this is the way I will manage that. I will not allow myself to gain weight, so I have to have something which is doable - for me it is keto.

I will be honest, I did not think MJ worked - I went up the does really quickly actually and even on 15mg, I just do not get suppression, so I have had to get it in other ways - healthy fats, lots of protein, for example. Some people just don't seem to respond as well as others on WLI's - an OP has said something upthread that resonated with me...* *@iluvlucy - I seem to be exactly the same - you say you have only lost (the majority of your weight) on 15mg. I truly believe some of us are just like that - and more than likely, as you say, down to extreme insulin resistance.

Anyway, wishing you luck @Polkadotdash - it is dispiriting to be doing your utmost and not getting where you want to be. I completely empathise.
