Can anyone recommend the best supplier where you can pick up in person e.g. Asda/Boots?

Hi, am looking for advice on a good reliable supplier for Mounjaro (price less important than good service). I've been using Everyday Meds but my latest pen (my 3rd) took ten days to arrive and wasn't cold on arrival.

I think I'd like to pick up in person and maybe have face to face conversation with someone. I don't mind paying for that.

For background my starting BMI was 30.3, it's now 28.5. I'm 8 weeks in and taking 3.75mg currently.

Very grateful for any recommendations.

Thanks

Check both of them for their approach to maintenance prescribing as neither are on the maintenance friendly monj.co.uk list and there is the possibility they stop prescribing before you are ready to stop.

Alternatives could be a local pharmacy (again check their knowledge of maintenance of policies on maintenance).

Delivery issues do happen sometimes, but in 22 months of deliveries I've only had one issue. The provider should replace your pen if it has been in transit for 10 days.

Absolutely what @WeAllHaveWings said.
The big chains often work to set protocols and are pushed by their head offices to fill targets, etc whether that fits you or not while smaller pharmacies may be more personal and supportive. Unfortunately there's no easy way to check other than speaking with or visiting them.
Most online companies are good. I have never had a delay like you have

I use Boots. Haven’t had a problem yet. They talk about maintenance but I’m not there yet so not sure what the practice actually is. I would imagine that like most places they are happy to flog the stuff if they can!

I go to a local pharmacy and I’ve been so pleased with the support. After I’ve seen the pharmacist and/or nurse practitioner I’m given my pen there and then, no ordering. Appts at a time to suit me and they have a flexible approach both to click counting and maintenance. No discounts is the only thing but I’ve found it worth it for the support and convenience. It’s not a chain pharmacy, just a local independent. I intended to use them only for a couple of months then start discount chasing but I’m finding it worthwhile to stay with them - plus I was very nervous initially and I liked the fact there was somewhere local I could just walk into if I had a problem.
