Just got my prescription approved, what to expect?

So after a lot of thinking (and a pointless experience with a menopause nurse), I’ve taken the plugged and ordered Mounjaro with Bolt.

im trying to mitigate the side effects that HRT has had on me (mostly a massive increase in breast size, overall water retention and probably a few pounds of extra fat).

Im already fairly active (I do yoga/ Pilates every weekday and do spinning for at least 3 days and run another 3).

my biggest concern is how it might effect my energy levels.

has anyone had used it for a similar use case?

ty!

I think the advice is to go easy on the exercise as your body gets used to the medication and associated reduction in appetite. Good luck, it's great stuff!

Fatigue is a fairly common side effect especially when initiating treatment, there are a list of side effects in the leaflets you get in the box. Both the leaflets are huge, but a quick read and well worth reading in full before using (if you are keen there are available to read online while you are waiting).

The extent each person gets side effects is very individual.

Tiredness is definitely a fairly common side effect, alongside nausea, and feeling cold, however the benefits to menopausal women IMO are well worth it,I lost 8lb in the first week,a massive fluid loss, I kept losing, and now tentatively going it alone,I'm way under my goal and am maintaining fine because I eat completely differently,no alcohol,no upfs and 16/8,
This was last year btw,and there's people gagging on the sidelines for me to regain 😂,but after about 6 Weeks there's a shift and you just change your mindset, good luck

I lost 5st on my own once, so the “mindset” per se isn’t an issue.
