Hi there, I’m in the February 2026 group and I’ve been taking MJ for 12 weeks. I’ve really struggled with side effects particularly headaches that even my prescription migraine medication can’t shift. I’ve dropped to 2 mgs but it stops any weight loss so putting on my big girl’s pants and braving the side effects at 2.5 mg again armed with 3 litres of water and electrolytes and a big dose of positivity.
SO, I wanted to remind myself of what I actually HAVE achieved so far so here it is:

  1. I have lost 16 lbs in 12 weeks
  2. I have been approved to come off one of my blood pressure meds as my BP has dropped so much
  3. I am now westing a size 12/14 top and size 16 trousers.

If you’d like to add your own, please go ahead! Have a moan and then make yourself list any positives. All the best wherever you are on your weight loss journey. 😘

  1. Should read instead of wearing a size 14/16 top and size 18/20 trousers.

Hello @Saturnista from the Dec 2025 starters group.

Wow, you’ve done brilliantly and I admire you for continuing in the face of such unpleasant side effects.

My NSV has been charting the inch loss from my hips and thighs. I hadn’t thought to bother but DH suggested it and I am so glad I did. I have lost 23lb (slow loser, my age - 61 - I expect) but nearly 6 inches from my waist.

We’re away on holiday atm and my holiday NSV has been my daily exercise. I have been alternating the hotel gym with a run, then swimming for 20 minutes every day. I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying it.

It’s the dreaded post holiday weigh in on Friday…
