Have done it. Ordered my first 0.25 pen of Wegovy. Current weight 80.2kg and 165 com tall. Want to be more like 70kg. Thanks to whoever posted a 25% off code for Zava.

anyone else joining me as a May 2026 Wegovy start?

Ok I took my 0.5 yesterday and I’m feeling a huge difference from the 0.25… I feel constantly full and all I’ve had today is yoghurt with protein powder. I’m psyching myself up to eat a tuna salad now with some egg. So it’s definitely working!

SW: 81.9kg
CW: 78.1kg
GW: 60kg

dodgeThePot · 05/06/2026 17:33

My progress update
3rd dose of 0.25 Wegovy yesterday
Height 5 ft 7
SW 12st 7
CW 11st 13.5
Target 11st 7 to start with may try to keep going to 11st will see how I feel in my clothes

I didn’t have too much to lose but I previously just couldn’t stop mindless snacking and my clothes getting tighter and uncomfortable. I’m late 50s and just want to stop the weight rising and be healthy. My cholesterol was high so I’m hoping to see improvements in that too. Few side effects this week just constipation.
Hoping I might get away with staying on the same 0.25 dosage next month.
Wegovy is definitely helping me to focus on healthy meals and taking away the urge to snack on rubbish

MrsKurz · 05/06/2026 17:49

@dodgeThePot that sounds really positive. I definitely found food noise reduced on the 0.25 and it was easier to stick to better choices, but by the end of week 4 the effects were very minimal for me. I moved up to 0.5 this week and am feeling much more appetite surpression now, but I have a bit more to lose than you

polkadotelephant · 05/06/2026 18:21

SW - 86.3kg
CW - 84.8kg
TW - 60kg (I wish - I just about managed that on my wedding day for the day 20 years ago and I was still officially overweight so I suppose I would really like to be 55kg but the last time I was that weight I was 12).

So ive just taken my third 0.25mg jab and done the weigh in. Really disappointed that ive only lost 0.5kg in the past week and only 1.5kg overall. I’ve had some cravings and therefore eaten a few sweets but nothing like I would do normally. The main difference has been my evening meal which i don’t really want but im a single parent cooking for two teenagers and don’t want them to pick up on me avoiding food.
Ive had quite a bit of light nausea, almost like morning sickness and I’ve always had to eat something to make that go away. I’ve had one night of cramping and terrible diarrhoea.

I’m really struggling to remove the old habits. I still have a snack the moment I get in from work when I sit down with my phone. I need to work out an alternative.

Anyway I must come on here more often. I think talking about it will help.

polkadotelephant · 05/06/2026 18:23

Does an interim target of 10kg in 10 weeks sound too far fetched to people?
I know I have to put in some more effort and will power as well.

Thank you
I’m still keeping an open mind as to dosage for month 2. Good to hear your insights and progress.

dodgeThePot · 05/06/2026 18:43

@polkadotelephant
we must’ve started at a similar time so good to hear how you’re getting on.
I had a terrible habit of getting in from work sitting down with a cuppa and shovelling in biscuits and sweet stuff mindlessly. Then I’d have a healthy dinner and still be snacking in the evening while chilling out. So far Wegovy has removed that habit for me I’ll have a cuppa and maybe 1 biscuit which would have been unthinkable for me before.
Theres always snacks and sweet stuff in the house having a hungry working 19 year old at home so I know it’s tempting.
I’m prioritising protein at each meal adding lots of veg salads and berries as well as porridge and rye bread earlier in the day.
Possibly if you’re not making the progress you’d hoped for upping the dosage next month might be needed.
Great support on this thread

dodgeThePot · 05/06/2026 18:50

@polkadotelephant
years ago when I did weight watches I used to always have a lag of a week or so before losing lbs. Used to think I’d had a really good week only to find a small lose then get the weight loss in the next week.
Maybe your body is still adjusting.
Also logging EVERYTHING and/or weighing what you eat can make you very aware and accountable. That has helped me in the past.

TheDogsMother · 05/06/2026 22:47

I had my first dose last Monday and have had the odd moment of nausea plus feeling pretty tired. This evening I did not serve up my whole dinner and have saved some for tomorrow instead. I’m hoping this is suppression kicking in.

I had one evening of only being able to eat half my dinner so saved it for the next night. I thought it was just a placebo effect as it’s too soon for the injection to be working at such a low dose but maybe not 🤔 .

One thing I have noticed is my sugar cravings are waaay less intense. I’ve been able to resist buying doughnuts which is a huge win.

Some people lose that, but try not to be disappointed if you don’t. Some people are ‘super responders’ and see phenomenal results very quickly, but others have more modest weekly / monthly losses and plateaus and that’s okay too!

Learningdutch · 07/06/2026 07:59

Away in Greece on holiday so no jab since 25th which was my 4th. Haven't been eating too badly as still feel full quickly but have had a fair amount of alcohol. Will see what the scales say on Tuesday!

Trumptontown · 07/06/2026 09:48

I’m convinced my scales are broken - I’ve lost 2.5kg since my last weigh in a week ago 😮. I hope it’s accurate 🤞

MrsKurz · 10/06/2026 08:44

Hey just checking in, how’s everyone going? I’ll be doing my 2nd 0.5mg jab tomorrow and this week has been so different than the 0.25 weeks. I’ve felt the effect of the medication much more, very good appetite surpression, feeling full at meals quite quickly and less food noise. Only a couple of extremely mild side effects, a little heartburn a couple of nights when I’d eaten too late.

still yet to get to the gym, I’ve had yet another cold. They feel pretty brutal this summer, kids bringing them home constantly from nursery and it’s hit us a bit! I do hope that’s ends soon as I’m toiiiiired.

Put on about a pound over 2 weeks so happy with that. Jabbed yesterday which is 2 weeks and a day since last one. Feeling a bit sick and tummy pain today, like starting again so glad I stuck to lowest dose.

CalpolOnToast · 10/06/2026 16:03

I did my 3rd 0.25mg yesterday, I had lost 500g but its back on now. Since yesterday I've had more burping etc but haven't had heartburn since last week.

Incidentally I am sitting here with a rumbling tummy but I don't feel like killing someone to get to food like I usually do, I don't know if that's an effect.

TipsyLaird · 11/06/2026 09:21

Second dose of 0.5 done yesterday and I was awake at 2am with the most horrendous acid reflux. Still not great this morning so will have to get more tablets or Gaviscon liquid. At least the bonus of that is that I am not feeling like eating anything.

I had a couple of nights with horrible heartburn/indigestion last week, but luckily that’s the only side effect I’ve had and only since starting 0.5mg.

how was your surpression through the first week of 0.5mg? I finally noticed it after moving up and this week has been much easier. Just took my second 0.5mg this morning

TipsyLaird · 11/06/2026 21:32

Better. Definitely notice I’m feeling less hungry.

aaahshoot · 12/06/2026 10:02

Did my second 0.5 jab this week but weirdly my appetite has returned (it was quite good in the first week). Disappointed currently but telling myself it’s still a low dose so maybe next step up will improve things. Overall I have lost about 4-5 lb in 5.5 weeks.

MrsKurz · 12/06/2026 13:36

@aaahshoot it's definitely still early days. I'm on day 2 of my second 0.5 jab and already I've not got as much surpression as last week, but I was struggling to eat full meals last week. I feel a bit more "normal" this week, but still feeling full after meals and minimal cravings. I wonder what the "normal" dose to kind of settle on is, I guess we are still in the build up phase.

You’re right - since the maintenance dose could be 1.75 we are still a way off I suppose. Trying not to impatient!

polkadotelephant · 13/06/2026 07:53

Last dose of 0.25mg just taken
same weight as last week, which is really disappointing as I actually felt slimmer this week. My tummy felt a bit flatter and my gym top a bit looser. I was so looking forward to stepping on the scales but nothing. It’s so disheartening. I was wondering whether I needed to go up a dose or not but this confirms it.
I’m finding suppression is mainly in the evening. I cook for the kids but can’t really eat much myself. Sometimes my evening meal has just been berries and yogurt. I still crave sweet things in the day.
I’ve had to take senna every evening for the past few days as I haven’t been pooping. The senna has helped a bit.

MerryDeer · 13/06/2026 08:34

I’m still doing ok on 0.5, just took my 3rd jab, im down 9lb in 7 weeks so slowly but surely which is ok with me.
Ive had some awful indigestion some mornings this week, which has taught me I can’t scoff so many carbs, especially not in the evenings.
As my emotional eating decreases my anxiety levels have risen a bit I’ve noticed, has anyone else found that?

dodgeThePot · 13/06/2026 10:32

Posting a progress update
age 58
height 5ft 7.5
Sw 12st 7lb
4th dose Wegovy 0.25 (taken a day late thought I’d try stretching out doses gradually)
Cw 11st 11lb
first goal 11st 7lb /(11st possibly further goal)

feel like progress is slow but also know that’s the best way.
A work colleague commented that my jeans were looking less tight! I’ve told no one that I’m on WLI.

Had a similar week as previously in that I’m still hungry for meals of my normal size but no cravings or desire to snack in between or make bad choices.
Only side effect is mild constipation.

Have decided to continue slowly on 0.25 dose for the second month . Have placed order and changed supplier for discount. Accepted by Farmeci.
