10mg not at all effective

Hey. I've been on MJ for coming on 14 months now. Stayed on each dose for as long as possible. 2.5mg excellent, 5mg started off well but faded quickly, 7.5mg loved it, now moved up to 10mg and nothing.

I'm utterly ravenous all the time and the craving for sweet things is through the roof.

I'm staying disciplined and haven't gained anything but 2 months at the cost of these pens is a long time to stay in a plateau.

Has anyone else had this issue with the higher doses? Should I try for another month or move up to 12.5mg?

Thanks.

If you've been on 10mg for 2 months with no progress and loss of effect, then it is probably time to move up.

You loved 7.5mg, but moved to 10mg. Why?

You've had no progress for 2 months; was some of this on 7.5mg or you've been on 10mg for 2 months? Just trying to clarify the recent timeline.

Why did you not move up when the first 10mg pen wasn’t working?

Thanks for your reply.

7.5mg was fantastic when I first started but then the food noise crept back in and I was losing and gaining the same 2lbs for about 5 weeks. So decided to move up.

I've got one more dose left in my 2nd 10mg pen so almost 2 months.

With every other dose I've always had that initial 'burst' at the start but it hasn't happened on this one.

Why did you not move up when the first 10mg pen wasn’t working?

Because I've been on each of the lower doses for so long, I wanted to give the 10mg a decent chance.

After 2 months on 10mg you will have reached a steady state, so if the 10mg isn't working for you then I would suggest it's sensible to consider moving up to the 12.5mg dose.

My opinion is that it’s less to do with the dose not being effective , but after 14 months on WLI , physically and psychologically it’s harder to keep losing / dieting. Lots of us seem to plateau at 12-15 months.
