I am used Mounjaro from June-December 2025 and lost two stone. Came off as I couldn’t afford and have also been training for a half marathon but I am seriously overeating again and despite running 25km a week, I am still putting weight on. I have put on half a stone and I am still BMI 31. Would love some buddies as would love to lose another 2/3 stone.

Yes me! I am starting as soon as it arrives... today or tomorrow. I am new to this, not used any weight loss injections before.

I would love to run again but as my bmi has crept up and perimenopause has kicked in I keep getting injured... I am really hoping it works for me and I can get back to regularly running.

Thanks for starting @Ibwah!

Iv ordered for the first time today and waiting for order to be approved. Iv only got 2 stone to lose and I feel guilty/ashamed that im resorting to a jab (I know that's ridiculous).

Hi @Middleagedexhaustion and @Wanderlust510 thanks for responding. I now that I have come off the jab, and after years of yoyo dieting, I know I cannot do it without a jab. I am 5’2” and my daily calories is so low! I walk
over 10,000 steps and run 20km a week. I am a v slow runner though. I am 81kg. I was 91kg when I started. Would like to lose another 15kg.
I noticed a lot of things improve on Mounjaro. I hope wegovy has the same effect! Which pharmacy are you both using?

25km a week is no joke, well done! Where are you based, almost guaranteed to have some social jogging groups in your area that may have some peeps in the same boat. Personally, I’m finding eating smaller portions and more frequently much more effective than the big 3 meals a day and treats in between. Works for me but we’re all different. I’m using a site called MedEazy to compare prices and treasure hunt for discount codes, but Wegovy is still pricey. Good luck on your journey!

I’d be interested in any running tips, you’re smashing it!

Hiya. My main running tip is to try “jeffing” which is a run-walk-run technique. I find that regular 30 second walk breaks has allowed me to improve my endurance and stamina. Also, my pace is faster when I take these walk breaks. I also find it much more enjoyable as I can go for longer. I’m running the London landmarks half marathon next week and will do it then.
