Mounjaro delivery: cold temperature?

I am waiting for my first delivery of Mounjaro. Does your pen arrive with ice?
how do they insure they are kept in cold temperature if it is delivered by Royal Mail?

For Zava the pens arrive with ice packs and wool.

Outer layer is a cardboard box. Then there's an ice pack. Then some rock wool insulation, usually in bubble wrap. Nestled right in the middle is the box with the pen. Mine have always arrived cold (from Bolt)

As the previous posters have said, the pharmacies have to use cold chain delivery. So some kind of insulation plus a cold pack, which will keep the medication within the 2 to 8 degrees temperature range it needs to be kept in for up to 48 hours.

Thank you all, once you use the first dose, do you always have to leave it in the fridge?

I keep mine in the fridge. I think from memory they say you can leave it out of the fridge for 21 days.

@Thepinkwave there will be paper leaflets in the box with the medication that explain everything about use and storage. To summarise the rules about storage - unused pens must be kept in the fridge (2 to 8 degrees). Once in use, i.e. after you've done the first injection, you have 30 days to use the pen and it can be kept at room temp or in the fridge at your preference. As long as it's kept between 2 and 30 degrees.

Pen arrives wrapped in icepacks. I leave it in the fridge so I don't have to worry about where it is. Needles are in the first aid kit in the kitchen.
