Its jag day for me today, but weigh in day is tomorrow (but i weigh daily) i hav had no side effects at all, scales showing a 2.2lb loss, which is a bit disappointing as i have at least 50kg to loose but i am and always have been a slow looser, so im just being consistent

didldidi · 16/04/2026 12:59

NorthDevonBeachLover · 16/04/2026 09:45

2.5lb off in my second week so total loss of 8lb in two weeks. Keeping up with water intake and protein but am struggling fibre wise as very few bowel movements! How was your weigh in?

Similar! 2lbs for me which is half a stone in the two weeks which I am happy with. I need to up the fibre too

VividDeer · 16/04/2026 13:28

I've ordered, so hopefully joining if approved
Looking at my photo I'd approve me 😅
Period due so extra bloated. I've filed it for reference and its quite horrific to look at.

VividDeer · 16/04/2026 13:30

Opps I've realised its a MJ thread, so off to find a wegovy one.
No wonder your losses looked impressive (compared to wegovy)

I’ve got 39kg to lose! I’ve lost 15kg on my own, so we must be on similar journeys in terms of total loss.

Wingingit11 · 16/04/2026 09:25

@Z0rr0 well done - slow and steady wins the race and all that. I dropped over 5 stone on MJ last time and was also slow !

Thanks @Wingingit11that’s impressive and encouraging. I only really have about 2.5 stone to lose I think, so if I can do 8lbs ish a month it will be good. I hope so. 🤞 Good luck with the next stage of your journey.

Z0rr0 · 16/04/2026 14:21

Re: fibre, I use Fybogel. Lemon flavour is nice. I always struggle with regular poops when I’m on low calorie intake and this helps. It adds fibre and pulls more fluid into the stool.

Z0rr0 · 16/04/2026 14:22

Also, can confirm, banana / berry / tofu smoothie was yum.

That's good to know, I'll look into Fybogel as I think I need something.

Wingingit11 · 16/04/2026 15:12

@Z0rr0 8lb a month is a good goal. You will hear of people losing masses but it does slow anyway. Took me far longer than I anticipated ! Then put a bit back on when off 🫣

Well Done! I really struggle on my own, even with exercise and strength training, i had an injury so i had to give it up, but would like to get back to it in some capacity. My starting weight is 20st, would like to get down to 13st, so 45kg but will just assess as i go. I will have a lot of loose skin if i succeed.

MyGardenDaisies · 16/04/2026 16:23

@ScreamingDelight me too but I’ll take loose skin as a battle scar any day over obesity

plus that can be removed

NorthDevonBeachLover · 16/04/2026 16:30

How are all of the early April starters doing?

That is true the cost of removal is so high

TFICoffeetime · 16/04/2026 17:57

I'm 6 days in & so far no constipation. Being going everyday, despite not eating much. I'm taking Fibre Boost from Amazon in my daily coffee. It's three types fibre & I'm feeling more regular now so will be taking it long term.
2nd jab Saturday - nervous about the weigh in, as I worry about morale if it's low or zero loss.
So far no real issues. Slightly racing heart a few times at night but I think that's been tired but I feel quite energetic in the day.

Thepinkwave · 16/04/2026 18:02

2nd Jab for me today and i am very happy. i need to lose between 3 and 3.5 stones to be normal BMI, which is my objective. My first weight today and i have lost 1.65kg, which i think in pounds is something like 3.5 (but i use kilos so i am not sure). No side effects, i have a Mediterranean diet so i eat quite well but what used to ruin me where the cravings and the continuous thinking about food. I feel a new woman, from a mental health point of view. i have so much brain space to think about other things in life, i am more relaxed and happier. I have time to read a news article on a website instead of ending up googling "what to cook for dinner". So far so good. Now i have to decide whether to stay on 2.5mg next month if i keep on losing. I do not want to speed up too much if it is working as i do not want to run out of high strnghts.

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 16/04/2026 19:41

My MedExpress order was finally approved and should arrive tomorrow. I’ve increased to 5mg after only a 6lb loss on 2.5, but as I’m currently staring at my dinner that I can’t eat, I’m wondering if I’ve done the right thing. Perhaps should have given 2.5 another month.

NeedSleepNowPls · 16/04/2026 19:50

@MyGardenDaisiesthat's an incredible loss, well done! And well done for making an exit strategy so early on, I'm definitely going in blind as I've not meal prepped for this week still 😅 but I have high hopes the appetite suppressing effects will at least curb the snacking I do which is my biggest downfall

NeedSleepNowPls · 16/04/2026 19:53

My first pen arrived today too so I'm getting butterflies about doing it tonight! But will aim for a bit before bedtime and hope it's straightforward

Wingingit11 · 16/04/2026 19:54

@thinkofsomethingdifferent when I went up to 5 last time (this is my second time) I found it a massive jump and ended up going down to 3.75 via clicks . Not sure if the new style pens are despatched now so can’t click or take the fifth dose

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 16/04/2026 22:28

@Wingingit11rhis is my worry, I may have jumped too soon due to being disappointed with my weight loss over the last 4 weeks. Given that some days I’ve literally had to force myself to eat, I’d have expected a bigger loss.
