@Wingingit11i think at the moment I’m just want to stay in one place as i just started the treatment - but helpful to know that it’s pretty easy to switch. I came across this https://cleardose.org/ which I thought was helpful - it shows you where you get ongoing discounts too - so might keep an eye out here for when I order after my next one.

If you can be bothered to keep changing, www.monj.co.uk has prices with discounts and you can order by dose. I’ll probably stick with pharmulous a while but previously used oushk, iq doctor, Asda all fine. Worth thinking how important it is to book a precise delivery date v lowest price to you.

Thanks. I’ve been checking the monj comparison site. Think I’m going to move to Pharmulous as I know someone who uses them and she’s been happy with them plus they’re cheaper than MedExpress after first discount. How did you find them when you started with them?

Hi, just jumping on to tell you my experience.

I got my first two pens from the same supplier. The first, was with a first customer referral discount. Second was with returning a customer discount.
I then switched suppliers for each of my next three pens. I used new customer referral codes each time from the Mounjaro website.
There are other discount website out there, shop around for the best discount.

I have just ordered my 5th pen, £73 discount. As a first customer, the provider gave me an automatic £45 discount but I had a code that will give me more and I used that one.

It may seem a faff but when you do it once, after then it is pretty rountine and done in less than 5 mins.

My first order - wanted current weight and height, full body picture facing forward, picture of proof of ID and short video.

Subsequent providers all wanted

  • current weight & height,
  • full body pictures front view - some wanted a front view only, some a front view & a side view and one wanted a side view only),
  • pictures of proof of ID and
  • pictures of my last prescription.

No videos.
It is all actually pretty straightforward and well worth the discount. I think.

Edited

@FindmypalNas Thanks for taking the time. Very helpful. I’ve decided I’m going to change.

My meal out was fine - tuna carpaccio in yuzu dressing with trout roe to start (delicious, easy to eat, felt saintly) then cod en croute (honestly the best thing on the very fatty French menu!). I ate the fish and the asparagus but not the sauce, pastry or cheesy souffle it came with. I felt fine (was worried about feeling nauseous on too much fat) if a bit guilty about the wasted food. Full but not at all bloated.

ThirdBiscuit · 13/04/2026 22:29

That sounds delicious @custardlover- hopefully I’ve got similar options for when we head out. I’ll just had to time it - seems like the nausea is the worst 3 days after the jab.

Wingingit11 · 14/04/2026 04:53

@Cedricsmum pharmulous been fine. Not as much gloss on the socials as eg oushk (who I did majority of my journey with last time) that’s fine for me and I’m paying less for that !

If you can look at the menu in advance and perhaps even check it with chatGPT (this is what I did) then you will probably feel less stressed in the moment.

I just weighed in and have lost 7lbs since I ordered it!

Hi all, looking for some advice - had my first dose last night and have spent most of the night awake with terrible nausea! No actual sickness but wow I feel awful. Does this go away and soon? Any tips to help get rid of the sickness more quickly? I did have a slight upset stomach this morning too but possibly unrelated as I suffer from some other problems already

Have you drank enough water? I am only on my first week but have had no side effects at all, but i am drinking at least 3 litres a day, i read that this really helps. I hope it passes soon

Thank you - I've always drank a lot of water but I'll try and up my intake a bit more and see if it helps. I've got some indigestion type feeling now too!

Farsideofthemoon · 14/04/2026 12:10

@StolenPineappleCup that sounds rough. I don’t have any brilliant advice but hoping that the nausea settles quickly. If you have not tried MJ before it may be just your body adjusting to something new in your system. I’m on my second go at MJ. Took it for around 3months last summer but as soon as I tried to move up doses I had several bouts of sickness and had to stop. It can be very effective but from reading lots of different threads and experiences on here it seems to affect ( or not) almost every person differently. Keep your food intake light. Have you eaten anything yet today?

StolenPineappleCup · 14/04/2026 13:15

@Farsideofthemoon I haven't eaten anything yet no, although I never eat breakfast on a normal day either, and still feeling a bit sick but not as bad as before. I tried 1.25mg previously and it have any impact in terms of effectiveness or side effects so now trying 2.5mg, but it has been a few weeks in between

pomegranatepie · 14/04/2026 13:50

Day two, and I am astonished by how much this has affected my appetite and food noise. I am having to remember to eat and think about food, which as a foodie and cook is unheard of. I'm relieved that I am enjoying what I am eating still, just feeling satisfied with small portions. Hope this keeps working like this. Still no side effects, guzzling as much water as I can

pomegranatepie · 14/04/2026 13:59

Although I am having the most heavy crampy period ever, I wonder if that is a side effect?

MessyNDepressy · 14/04/2026 14:04

@StolenPineappleCup I started last Friday night and felt quite nauseous Saturday and Sunday. Having something to eat definitely helped plus drinking more water but I know you said you already do drink alot. The nausea was gone when I woke up on Monday morning and hasn’t come back yet.

I had the worst period ever last week! So so heavy, very different to usual.

Interesting. And annoying, but a price I think I am happy to pay, if the jab keeps working this well

MyGardenDaisies · 14/04/2026 14:44

Hi! Just over 24h since 1st jab and feeling ok. Had nausea and funny heavy headed brain last night, and some headache.

I am not hungry or very interested in food, but if I go 2+h without food, I get the funny fuzzy brain feeling again.

Ilovepeas175 · 14/04/2026 14:45

Taking my 2nd jab tonight, weighed last Tuesday morning so weighed this morning and I’ve lost 7lbs!! So pleased!!

EducatingEater · 14/04/2026 15:00

Well done @Ilovepeas175 that is fantastic!

I agree with the upping water thing, I needed to do so before I started, and I find this med might be making me thirsty in itself as I'm definitely finding myself reaching for a drink more than I did before which is only a good thing. Touch wood no side effects too.

I have jabbed a day early as I'm not home tomorrow and I didn't want to take it with me given it's just one day and I'm home Friday so I figured I might as well jab today as eventually I'd like to get to weighing being on a Monday.

On doing so I've lost 9lbs, very happy with this, though understand it won't always be this way and that it's the body adjusting, having a lot to lose and water weight too.

Have you considered protein shakes to fill the gap? If you feel a bit fuzzy then try some more shake and see if it helps whilst your body adjusts.

What are you eating when it comes it meals/snacks?

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 14/04/2026 16:22

Nothing express about MedExpress - still waiting for it to be processed since Monday morning. is this normal for new customers?

MyGardenDaisies · 14/04/2026 16:45

How much of a deficit are you all aiming for?

my calories are adjusted for 1kg loss per week.

Yeah I think I need to get some protein powder as I struggle to get enough protein in most days.

I'm not counting calories, just trying to keep a balanced diet and focus on protein and fibre. Although if it keeps on like this I will struggle to get enough calories in me! Only managed a very small (toddler!) portion of roast cauliflower, salad and chicken, and that was a struggle.
