So expensive now!

I took a break from WLI, not really sure why as I hadn’t reached a healthy weight but I haven’t put the weight I lost back on. Ready to get back to it but omg it’s so expensive now! I used to use Voy but they now have a minimum 3 month subscription and I quite liked being able to pause when I wanted to. Can anyone share where has the cheapest MJ (without sending letters to GP)? I can’t be arsed to deal with my judgmental GP who has blamed every illness I’ve ever had on either being a woman or being fat.

Wegovy made me nauseous but I had no side effects on MJ whatsoever.

https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

This website is updated and really useful. You can click on the top of the column with the dose you want and it will sort by price.

@MoneyJo thank you, that’s really helpful. I can see Voy is definitely one of the most expensive sites!

The range of price is really interesting isn't it?

There will be very few pharmacies that still don’t share with GP now after the tightening of the GPhC guidelines last year, in January and again this month, if they don’t now they will likely change soon as it is additional prescriber workload (and cost) to document risk based assessments if consent to inform gp is not given.

If you have reasons for your GP not to be informed you might be limited to the more expensive Dr led pharmacies.

TheBrickCritic · 14/03/2026 15:21

I have used med express and bolt. Both have shared with G.P.

notcomfortable · 14/03/2026 17:52

When i restarted in January I was £105 for 2.5
And then £124 for 5mg
Haven't gone beyond 5mg yet but I messaged the supplier I use to ask if there was a discount for reoccurring customer and they took 20% off so better than nothing
I have changed pharmacy every time even last year and my GP isn't aware I am taking mj

I recently ordered with medicine marketplace and had to consent to them sending my GP a letter. So they could be worth trying. They’re also one of the cheapest around and I received my medication within 2 days.

gettinghappy · 14/03/2026 19:47

Medicine Marketplace fits the bill. They send you a letter by email which you can send to your gp or not. Great prices.

PearlsTeapot · 14/03/2026 20:05

I also came to say medicine marketplace, I used to shop around but I stick with them now and have been very happy for 4 months now. They’re one of the cheapest, very reliable. And they email you a letter to give to your gp rather than contacting them themselves.

Mounjarogirl25 · 15/03/2026 16:10

Medicine Marketplace used to just send you a letter to send to your GP but they now send directly to your GP - my NHS app now has a copy of that letter from this month (no previous letters and have been on it with them for a year)

I have looked on Mounjaro price list and medicine marketplace seems to be the best one for price. Im wondering why the price of the 12.5 dips a little. I am considering trying these but Im undecided whether to go up from 12.5 as I am going on holiday and think I need a little more help. I have been losing 1lb a week since been on 12.5 which Ive been on for 2 months. Any advice would be good please.

Does anyone know why Morrison’s clinic is no longer on the monj.co.uk site? They used to be and offer a 2 dose bundle.

I wonder if they have stopped doing Mounjaro and just do Wegovy. I had an ad for them the other day and it was all about Wegovy.

I know someone who bought 2 Mounjaro jabs from them yesterday.

If you’re losing a pound a week that’s a bang on healthy middle of the road weekly weight loss. I do understand wanting to lose more but in the long run it’s best to stick with a dose until you find yourself not losing for a few consecutive weeks.
