I seem to be one of the 20% of the people for whom the jab does not help with weight loss. Well, Oz did work for a while but then it didn't. Doctor put me on another med and that didn't help at all. However, it seems that everyone I know, including my husband is dropping pounds consistently and I am so envious that I can barely stand to be around them. I am happy for them and their journey to being healthy, really I am. I just hate having to see it all the time.

You are not a terrible person!!! Its not your fault if your body is resistent to the medication!
What causes that is it simply down to your biological.make up?

Ah op, this sounds so difficult! I am not on them, but would be so upset if I was and then saw no results. I totally get why you're jealous and that does not make you a bad person.

What does did you get up to on Ozempic?

You are not a terrible person, it is very disappointing to be in the small percentage of people that don't really respond to GLP1s.

There will be new versions of GLP1s being approved in the future, so maybe one of those might do the trick for you. Retatrutide is scheduled to be available in the UK sometime in 2027, for example. There's also a pill GLP1 called Orforglipron coming in that sort of time frame too.

Don’t panic @momtoboys new drugs are in the pipeline and coming on stream in the next year or so. This market is still in its infancy for weight loss and there will be different drugs to suit different people.

What other med did the doc put you on?

Did you try mounjaro? And try it fully by being on it long enough to get to the maximum dose? Your post is not clear.
