Help pls regarding withdrawing 5mg from 2.5mg

Hi, I’ve currently been on mounjaro 5mg for about 5 months now.
My DS started on mounjaro a few weeks ago but doesn’t want to continue and has given me the last couple of doses of her pen.
I have bought insulin pens to extract the ‘golden dose’ out of my pens so far but could someone kindly let me know how much of the 2.5 needs to go into the 100ml syringe to make it 5mg pls?

Each full dose from a pen is 0.6ml regardless of the strength so 2 full doses will be 1.2ml

You mean 1ml syringe :D

You would need to do two separate doses of 0.6 as you would need 1.2 in total or a 1 and 0.2.

If you're using the 2.5 mg pen for a full 5 mg dose and not using the golden dose at all you could just use the usual needles and inject twice. If you must use a syringe then others have given the correct advice.
