Weight loss jabs, trying to choose

Hi. Im wanting to start the weight loss jabs. Ive looked into it and i think wegovy as its cheaper and it doesn't affect the pill as much as mounjaro.
Will i regret this choice?
I have a lot to lose, i weigh about 19st at 5ft5 so some ways to go.
Just after experiences please.

I was 20st 2lbs and I'm now 10st 7lbs at 5ft 7, I've lost over 45% of my bodyweight on WLI. I was something of a super responder I think. I'm in my 50s as well so this was all post menopause.

I’m also on mounjaro but if I was starting now I’d also start on wegovy, it’s a no brainer, if it doesn’t work you can switch but absolutely worth trying.

I've just filled the assesments in for wegovy. Says it should be approved in 24 to 48 hours so fingers crossed

I've just had my first Wegovy injection this morning. I haven’t eaten loads today but can’t tell if it’s the injection or just a placebo at this point. I’ve decided on Wegovy because I get heart palpitations and Wegovy is supposed to be better for your heart. I also like the fact there is more long term data. I’m hoping to lose 2 stone ideally.
To others that have been on longer how do you get maintenance prescriptions if you need to be obese?

Best of luck!

I was sick as a dog on Ozempic but it was very effective (largely because I barfed if anything at all went in my mouth, but then I had a permanent headache)
Mounjaro I got a massive rash
So neither worked and I've given up and am finally working on diet instead - to great success in fact (it can be done!). Nonetheless, my point is whether you can afford one or not will not be the only factor
