Hi have applied for and being approved for Wegovy 0.25mg. I'm 5ft4 and just under 80kg so I only just qualify by the skin of my teeth.

Im looking to get back to my 69-70kg weight however since having kids the wright doesnt shift.

What is everyones experience? I am slightly nervous! I have always been healthy and very fit doing weightlifting so this feels like a cheat code for me!!

Did you miss food? What were your symptoms like? How much did you lose in what timeframe?

Pretty much the same stats as you! I had no symptoms at all on it. It took me about 12-18 months to get from 82kg to 70kg. I upped the dose each time in order to get the maximum benefit. It’s definitely reduced my appetite, but I can still go out for dinner and eat three courses and drink wine etc. It’s made me want to eat more sugary foods and will often have some chocolate for breakfast (unheard of before, I didn’t used to eat anything until lunch), but I think my blood sugar is a bit low. I’ve gone off vegetables a bit which is disappointing, but I do try and eat them. Overall the quantity of food I eat is less, I always ate healthily, but just too much.

It would have been much cheaper to join a gym and try portion control, but I think I needed a bit of a kickstart. Weight loss has been steady and sustainable. I am hoping to get down to just under 60kg which would be my ideal weight at 1.6m (don’t want to lose too much as I’m getting older).

No symptoms, 80 percent of people don’t;

I don’t know what you mean by do we miss food. We all still eat. I still get hungry for meals. I just eat healthy food, a clean diet and a healthy portion.

The people I know who went on had no appetite and could only manage maybe one small meal a day. Has it basically cut cravings for you?
