Started Wegovy Monday, no effect noticed?

Hi,

I started on Wegovy 0.25 on Monday evening, I followed the instructions and think I injected correctly but I'm not noticing anything, no side effects or lack of appetite etc. Am I just being too keen , does it take longer to work?

Maybe give it time as you only stated monday. I have heard it isn’t affective for everyone and is only part of a larger plan.
I’d still say give it a chance as it’s far too early to tell.

It takes longer than that to work! It may take weeks to build up to a level that has an effect on your system. It's really individual and varies a lot. The information you were given or have available to you from your pharmacy should explain that the first dose of Wegovy, 0.25mg, is the treatment initiation dose and may not result in weight loss or noticeable effects for the 4 weeks that you take it. Each week, the level of medication in your system will build as some remains in your system when you do the next injection. So patience is needed.

Thank you! I am very much using it in conjunction with eating much less and exercising, I was just anticipating when the side effects might hit! Thanks for the advice.
