Changing provider

I’ve stuck with Voy since the start. I liked they didn’t tell my GP (friend of my sister). But they are so expensive and I don’t use the coaching or anything.

I’ve looked at monj and can see lots better prices. Should I just go for it?

Any recommendations for a provider who uses discrete packaging?

Yes I’d just change, Voy are so expensive. I don’t think I’ve had any indiscreet packaging from any of the pharmacies that I’ve used. My most recent order was from Lloyds due to a good new customer discount, but I’ve also been using Swift Doctor who have been fine so far.

I have used both med ex and bolt. Both were fine. m express did share with my G.P. Bolt hasn't as of yet but the order only came on Saturday. Both had discreet packaging. Bolt was dpd and m express was royal mail. Both required ID and photo, no video. Message me if you want further info.

I tried to change and it was a nightmare, two companies turned me down after holding about £500,for a week so I have stayed with oushk but swapped to wegovy. My BMI is 26 so shouldn't have been an issue

Do you change provider for every pen? Or stick for a few and then change?

I changed fairly frequently once the prices went up in September last year. If the price difference is only a few pounds I tend to stick with Swift, but I would change if there was a decent new customer discount offer for a pharmacy with decent trust pilot reviews.

I changed for every pen for about 6 months but now I’m sticking with medicine marketplace, they’re cheap and reliable, all of them have had discreet packaging. MMP you can’t even tell it’s a refrigerated package. They haven’t told my gp yet for 4 months, as far as I know. They just sent me a letter to give to my gp myself every month.

the savings are massive, it’s well worth switching.

I've changed provider at least 6 times in the past 12 months (possibly more) . When I look at the monj discount prices I have to go down the list quite a way to be able to find a new supplier. Be careful as some pharmacists are associated with others so can't use their discount. Can't use FellaHealth new customer if you've already used Bolt. I'm looking at possibly medicine market place for my next pen as no discounts but low price as standard means a lot less faffing as I move into BMI of less than 29

They wouldn't take me on wegovy, only mounjaro it was all very weird. Had the video consultation which was no problem sent them the id, photos video and the pharmacist regejcted me saving my BMI was too low, 26 even tho the consultant lady said they prescribe till 22. Waste of time for me.

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 04/03/2026 12:21

I change every month even though its a faff with supplying old prescriptions and submitting videos/photos but once thats done, it's always been posted quickly.

IIRC each supplier has an option for you to opt out of your GP being informed, but dont quote me on that as I am happy for them to know.
