Does this sound like allondynia?

I’m nearly 6 weeks in on MJ, doing well, no major side effects, still on 2.5. However, I have this weird thing going on with my skin and haven’t really associated it with MJ till today. Just after I started I was convinced I was developing shingles at the bottom of my spine. Really localised burning pain, but no rash ever appeared. Cleared up and then I got another incredibly painful patch on the side of my waist. Cleared up again, and developed the same on my elbow. That also got better then today it’s started on the side of my thigh. None of them were/are near injection sites. Nothing at all to see, feels like skin pain rather than deeper muscular pain - like a lighter being held close to the skin. None are bigger than the palm of my hand and despite being intensely painful they don’t spread. It’s as if the pain has an edge and then just stops abruptly. It’s not interfering with life, it’s just annoying. Then today I read an article about side effects of MJ and wondered if they may be linked.

I have this, pretty much exactly as you describe. Started after about six weeks of injecting, occasionally disappears altogether then a new sore patch pops up. But as it's the only side effect I've had (other than mild nausea when increasing dose) it's not a problem. It is weird though and I am curious about what exactly causes it.

Yes, it’s very weird isn’t it. At the same time a lot of my arthritic pain has reduced by about 70%, within about a week of starting MJ.

That's great. It's effects are astonishing - my daily Ulcerative Colitis symptoms have almost completely disappeared!

Ive had this.. I always jab stomach, so not that.. but right side of top leg, left pinky finger going to my hand and left elbow. All the ski area, feels sore for about a week, sore to touch but no marks, no rash.. I put it down to random MJ as I read a few people had it too..

That’s amazing. While I know IBS is a much less serious thing than UC, my IBS has also just - stopped. To the extent I spent a week worrying about my ‘change in bowel habit’. Then I realised I was actually just going to the loo like a normal person.

I have had allondynia. Not from mounjaro, but some years ago.

What you are experiencing doesn’t sound like my experience.

I felt like I had a tiny hedgehog just inside my skin so that if I touched it I was being prickled.
