Could someone please remind me which needle to buy in order to retrieve the 5th dose from a manjaro pen as I am unable to twist the pen to get the fifth dose out.

Also, is the needle used for retrieval the same needle as used for injecting the dose or do you need to change the needle?

Look on ukmedi for a 1ml 8mm 32G syringe. You can use the same needle to extract and inject.

if you want a shorter needle or to switch needles between extracting and injecting buy a 1ml luer lock syringe and the length of needles you prefer (the higher gauge 32g, 34g etc the finer the needle)

avoid amazon

SHD medical less than £5 delivered for 10 x 12mm or 8mm 1ml syringes. If you get 12mm just inject half way.

Amazon ones aren’t necessarily for clinical use so they don’t guarantee sterility. It often says it in the small print.

I've found the syringe on the ukmedi site. Do I need to buy their needles or can I use a mj pen needle? Are the needles universal? Picture of box attached

The pen needles only attach to the pens. The syringes either come with a fixed needle, or if you get the Luer Lock syringes, they need separate Luer Lock needles which are not the same as the pen needles.

Syringe

They have the needle already attached. Throw the whole thing away in the sharps box afterwards.
