Will I be declined by SheMed

Just wondering if anyone who is currently using SheMed for their jabs has been declined based on their blood test and if so what was this due to?
TIA

Did they tell you why you was declined?

SilenceInside · 25/02/2026 20:22

@startingagain17 there are a couple of long running Shemed threads that you could ask on. From what I’ve gathered reading those, and not as a Shemed customer, they would only decline your prescription if you had blood test results that would indicate some serious issue that needed some medical intervention fairly promptly. So just having high cholesterol for example would not be an issue, nor would having a pre diabetic Hba1C result maybe. But having a Hba1C result in the diabetic range might, or thyroid markers that indicate a serious thyroid issue.

Frankly I'd thank my lucky stars if I was rejected by SheMed. They are expensive and offer nothing apart from pseudo science for the inflated cost. There are loads of more straightforward suppliers you can try.

I had high cholesterol and was not declined.

Yes, subscription - Wygovy

SilenceInside · 03/03/2026 08:11

@Wordsworth25 can I ask why you want to sign up to a subscription model provider for Wegovy? They are usually more expensive after the first month than most other standard pharmacies, and personally I have yet to see any evidence of why they can justify being more expensive.

Wordsworth25 · 03/03/2026 08:24

I just thought it would be easier to be honest. I'm over 75 and some won't prescribe due to age.

Wildviolet · 03/03/2026 08:28

@Wordsworth25 if you want an easy subscription model try Curely. I am very impressed with them.
Straightforward to set up, good price, easy to pause or cancel and excellent human customer services who actually answer the phone.

Wordsworth25 · 03/03/2026 08:38

I'm impressed. I'll check them out.
Thank you
