And answer a couple of other random questions!

1. if I want to take a 3.75 mg dose from a 5 mg pen, is that 45 clicks?
2. when I get to the golden dose, is that 0.45 mls if I want 3.75 from a 5 mg pen?
3. am I correct that I can’t accidentally overdose while counting clicks as the maximum it will deliver is the prescribed 5mg dose?
4. does the pen only deliver 4 doses - so if I’m click counting there will be a lot of left over MJ that I need to extract with syringe, or does the pen deliver 240 clicks meaning it will deliver 5+ doses via the pen?

Thank you! I haven’t decided yet whether to move up to 5mg - I feel I probably need more but I’m not sure a doubling is a good idea either. I’m just trying to get the practical issuessorted, and do appreciate that I’d be taking it in a non-prescribed way.

Yes, you are correct with all your numbers. The max dose from normal clicks is 60 clicks / 5mg

when using a syringe, just be careful to measure as usually if you haven’t used excess when priming, the extra dose can be as much as 0.8ml or about 6.6 mg….

2 yes although it might say 45 units for 0.45ml on your 1ml syringe.

1. Yes the pen won’t turn beyond 60 clicks each time so that’s the max in one push.
2. 240 clicks is 4 x 60 doses but there are another few clicks left over before it locks. Best to use syringe when getting closer to the 240 - so you can do 5 doses of 45 clicks with the pen (225) and then swap to syringes for 2 x 0.45ml =

total 7 doses of 3.75mg from a 5mg pen.

final tip. Count 45 really carefully for your first dose then put a sharpie mark in the window - easier for the next 4 doses.
