Can I continue on same dose

I have been on Mounjaro 5mg for the past 5 months, no side effects.
I normally take on Wednesday but missed my dose last week due to financial costs need a new pen,
I am ordering tomorrow so I presume pen will be here for the weekend is it fine to continue on 5mg 4th Feb was last shot.

Absolutely. I'm at maintenance now after losing 60lbs. Never gone above 5mg as I always lost consistently on that dose. I just continued to order it.

Thankyou well done on your loss, so ill be ok with the just over 2 week break inbetween, I have lost 56lb on it :)

Is the issue not that you are meant to drop down to starting dose if you miss more than two weeks? That’s what it says on the FAQs that I got. I think you probably need to ask your provider.

You have been on the dose long enough to cope with a two week break.

A couple of days over on a low dose, if you haven’t had side effects on 5mg before I would. I consider myself risk adverse.

Hmm, I guess if you’ve never had bad side effects I can see why taking 5mg after a short break seems reasonable.

Would you consider taking either 3mg or 3.75mg from your new pen then 5mg the following week rather than straight into 5mg after a 2 week break?

If finances are an ongoing issue, are you planning to regularly stretch the doses out over the longer term? Lots of people do do this.
