Rybelsus. Has anyone tried it?

I noticed Swift Doctor is offering it as an option now. Does anyone have any experience using it? Did it work?

I was on Mounjaro last year and lost 2.5 stone. Came off it and moved to Wegovy when the price shot up. Put 10lb back on whilst on Wegovy. Ended up coming off completely and have since put over 1 stone back on. 🙄

My mistake,so does monjroro..they both do ..well you learn something new every day

It's not officially approved for weight loss only t2 diabetes but private clinics/pharmacies can prescribe it off label.
The risks, including thryoid cancer, are the same as wegovy since they're the same ingredient.

I just did a chat gtp to compare it with 15 mg of monjroro, which I'm on ,and the results were not to swap ,as monjroro is stronger ,and if you need to swap to something,it said to swap to wagovy as that is stronger than rybelsus

The tablets made me horrifically constipated.

The patient leaflet for Mounjaro suggests not taking it if you have a family or personal history of some specific types of thyroid cancer. There is no proven link in humans, but one trial of GLP1s on rodents showed a possible increase in rates of these specific kinds of thyroid cancer. It’s not a general risk for anyone taking it.

This is the patient info leaflet for Rybelsus in the UK:

https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/files/pil.11507.pdf

There is no warning about thyroid cancer in the leaflet.

So, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Rybelsus are all GLP1s and if you have a family or personal history of the specific types of thyroid cancer then you might choose not to use them. Given that you’ve already been prescribed Mounjaro and Wegovy then I guess you don’t have that kind of issue, @SpecialAgentMaggieBell?

Given that Wegovy didn’t work for you and Rybelsus is the same medication, then you may find that it also doesn’t work for you. But it’s worth a try if you wanted to I suppose.

Monjroro does that to me 😭

I was on it this time last year, lasted 2-3 months and I was in the worst pain I've ever been in, my stomach went huge and round with bloating and I couldn't eat a single thing because of the pain. I was put on them for my diabetes, I'm now on monj jabs instead for blood sugars
