Hello! I feel like a bit of a fraud being a Shemed Exiter, but I don't want to lose you guys.

Currently being bombarded by the Shemed app trying to lure me into a refill. When I spoke to the call centre, they did say that reaching goal weight would be viewed as a clinical reason to leave the trial. They still seem a loosy goosey about how any maintenance would work - and I guess that is true for most places.

I'm sticking to my shemed weigh in routine, even if I'm not with them any more - hopefully I've lost a bit more, I've been a bit more on the ball this week. I've started a weights program which hopefully will help me build back some muscle and help me use up a few more calories.

kittykarate · 16/02/2026 17:05

What have you decided to do regarding dosage @BestDIL ? Are you feeling any better?

BestDIL · 16/02/2026 17:21

Oh yes, I'm fine now. I dropped back down to 2.4mg this week but plan on using up the remaining two doses of 1.7mg next week with a 3.4mg dose. Then I'll see. This morning I was 2lbs away from target so the 3.4mg may just boost me enough to get me over the line. Then I'll stick with 2.4mg for the next 5 weeks and then go down to 1.7mg and stick with that for a few months. Planning on getting to the lowest dose possible for maintenance for around six months and then off.

To be honest, I'm scared at coming off completely and whilst my hubby isn't happy about me staying on for another year, I am a lot more relaxed knowing that I've got support for the next year.

As for you @kittykarate not being with SheMed, that doesn't matter. I just wanted to keep in touch and thought that others might see the thread. I've messaged the regulars but feel free to share the thread with anyone else. The more of us supporting each other the better.

well I binned my wegovy as it made me so unwell with the bloating and flatulence (continual) highly embarrassing. So I am using bolt for now. Still trying to have a proper discussion with Shemed about switching back, but the customer service isnt very good.

I cant get anyone to actually speak to me properly about it.

Kaggi9 · 16/02/2026 18:39

Just come across this thread!

I’ve just completed my 12 months on SheMed and have opted to stay. I’ve reached a little below my goal, but am very happy with where I am. If I’m honest, I preferred MJ, but Wegovy has been ok. Just waiting to find out if I’ve been ‘accepted’ for another 12 months!

Shazzabelle · 17/02/2026 08:27

Hi am I on the right post @BestDIL I got ur message . Gosh that weogovy experience sounds awful with the big dose and 2lb loss is massive at ur stage ...well done ( at least something came off horrific week ) so close to target 😊 sounds a good idea for ur circumstances to sign up for another year and maintain.

I have remained on mj throughout I am with drweightmans have been since it all happened . Am lucky I can afford to stay on it .I now use the GD and seriously wonder why I NEVER b4 ????? Have done on all my pens since I switched . I still have a fair bit to loose so no way am I changing to wg as so happy with mj . I have lost 4 stone 8 .6 lbs still want to loose another 2 and a half stone maybe /ish lol . I am now on 12.5 mg this is my second 12.5 pen i had a few 10 mg plateaued a little but was December....lots going on etc (xmas events) maybe up 1.5 lb at xmas then had a wee few days in London end of Jan so all in all am happy where I am at . I think my weeks of 2/2.5 losses be over though as not so much to loose so just have to get used to that . I forgot to say I messaged she med emailed she med and fone at the time of change also stopped my bank payment thing .am still on app still get reminders even recieved yearly blood check bu!! Obvs I didn't do it .
Was really good to hear from u xx

BestDIL · 17/02/2026 12:11

Yes, @Shazzabelle this is the right post. Glad you have joined me and welcome to @Kaggi9 . Everyone welcome. I only used the same name so that it would be obvious it was a continuation of the same post. Absolutely no requirement to use SheMed.

@Kaggi9, you will definitely get to stay. They're not turning us away as they took a massive hit when the price increases happened. Lost so many customers.

I wish I could have stayed on MJ but I really couldn't afford the increase and looking at it now, I have only lost 12lbs since switching. I really thought it was working for me!! It's great at keeping me maintained though!

I must admit I never really go on my shemed warriors even though it s not official as ive left she med so will be nice to come back on here and stay in touch and get and give support 😊xx

BestDIL · 17/02/2026 15:08

I loathe the facebook groups. They are so toxic and the same old questions asked time and time again. How much is this/that? It'd be quicker for them to look on the website than wait for someone to answer their question. I am part of the She Med 99ers which is a little better.

Ayevi am a she med 99 er as well but not been on that in loooong time I think cause I dont use shemed anymore or maybe I was fed up of the fighting I dunno lol

kittykarate · 17/02/2026 17:10

I left the 'official' shemed group just last week with a sigh of relief. It did get a bit much at times.

Reginaphalangeeeee · 22/02/2026 13:13

Yay

Reginaphalangeeeee · 22/02/2026 13:14

How are to u all? Just shelled out for another Mounjaro pen! Got a good deal but my my it's expensive

Reginaphalangeeeee · 22/02/2026 13:15

Got sent the Shemed blood test. Not done it yet

BestDIL · 23/02/2026 11:08

I've not been sent the blood test which is strange as I am now well over the 12 months. I did get sent a spare when the last one failed and I wonder if that is stuck in their system. I'll probably do it in the next couple of days - need to remember to drink loads of fluid beforehand and then maybe, just maybe I'll get enough blood. I am notoriously bad at parting with my blood, mostly due to low blood pressure.

Just had a laugh - one of the ads that's just popped up on my PC says "When I realised I could finally do my bikini line without guesswork, that was a real proud moment!". Had to completely agree with that - also being able to paint my toenails without shoving a boob either side of my leg!!😂😂

How have you found MJ this time? I've seen reports that people haven't found it as effective after using WG for a few months.

Shazzabelle · 23/02/2026 12:06

@BestDIL lol . Its very strange I got blood test sent out 2 weeks ago but I quit when all the mj war started ??? Never ordered since yet still in app etc too ....

BestDIL · 23/02/2026 12:14

@Shazzabelle and @Reginaphalangeeeee are you going to do the blood test? I'm going to do it despite it being only a few weeks since I had full bloods done by my GP. I'll be interested to see how accurate they are.

OP posts:
Shazzabelle · 23/02/2026 12:29

Nah cause then they would tie me in .....I can't understand when I wrote to them they were swamped with people leaving but at was ages ago . I would love to see my results ....but doc will prob do some , he said some other the things on my 6 month one were like high on she med but he said they were nothing to worry about ?? . My thyroid in particular sooooo low on their test but I had it redone and is border line ??? ( I think it was low was ages ago ) so I will have to go back as I have to get it kept an eye on now .

BestDIL · 23/02/2026 12:39

That makes sense. The only issue I had was with cholesterol which had gone up but not mega high. I also have CKD3 (Mild Chronic Kidney Disease - mild/chronic - oxymoron!!) which I don't understand why I have it! I'm not a drinker and haven't been since my 30's - I'm now 60. Apparently if you have raised cholesterol, that can make CKD worse. My GP put me on statins and that has reduced the cholesterol considerably which in turn will help with the CKD.

I had a lovely walk this morning with doggie as its sooo sunny and warm today !!! I had on a pink anorak /jacket i bought about 8 years ago size 18 m&s only wore it couple of times as soooooo tight eventually I out grew it and it wouldn't go near me !!!today it was roomy 😊 unreal feeling .....

BestDIL · 23/02/2026 13:17

Totally agree @Shazzabelle - thank god for MJ. I love all the baggy clothes! I have been buying and selling on Vinted. Sold almost all my "big" clothes and have bought a whole new wardrobe for each size down. Actually think I might be addicted to Vinted!! I keep trawling the house to find things to sell. Whole loads of coats and work suits this weekend. I work from home so will never have the need for suits again.

I have been looking in regular shops but after Vinted, I am shocked by store prices...

Shazzabelle · 23/02/2026 13:31

Oh good for u I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle of selling it lol just nae me . I gave a lot of to clothes banks . I must admit I have loads in house that were brand new still got tags .....so they now all fit or are too big !! . I have got some stuff off shein as its so cheap like pyjamas and holiday stuff going majorca in August.
