Has anyone managed to shrink their bust?

I've been on MJ for 5 months, have gone down from 18.5 to 15 stone but my 40hh bra size is not shrinking at the same rate as the rest of me.

For anyone who's been on this journey longer with a similar figure, did yours catch up? Is there anything I can do or do I just need to be patient? I can't afford a breast reduction.

yes! Went from GG cups to 30DD, I'm almost flat chested now. Teeny tiny boobs. But I love it. Can finally wear what I want, not only big bust friendly clothes. Can wear high street sports bras, and not industrial strength boulder holders.

I lost 2 stone on slimming world 10 years ago no change in bra size. I'm now taking mounjaro, have lost almost 3st in 9 months, almost at target. Have lost 6 inches off boobs. Not sure about cup size. Need to get measured again. Bought some lovely bras from bravissamo, too big now

Mine didn't actually, I was wearing 30 back before 3 stone loss as well. Except that bras were all too tight and stretched out to max 😀

I've lost three stone, my belly and my bum have slimmed down a lot, but somehow my boobs have gone down a band size and up a cup size
I'm hoping to keep them tbh because I quite like them, but I've another two stone to go so who knows what's going to happen!

I had a breast reduction to take me from a G to an E.

I was 9.7 stone then

I still felt too big. Went down to 8.7 stone and am now a D (deflated!)

it really depends on body composition.

At my lightest pre reduction I was 7.10 stone and I went down to an E. Back up to a G when weight went up

Yes, my old 40hh's were tight before the weight loss and I can now get into a 38h comfortably, but because I've lost so much on the rest of my body my chest looks even bigger than before in comparison.

I'm very reassured by all the responses that I will probably even out eventually!

I’m still hoping for a drastic change in my boobs! Started Mounjaro at 19st 2 and a 44/46 GG, I’m now bang on 10st and my band size is a perfect 32 but cup size is an H 😭. But they are so deflated I can almost roll them into the cup, I’ve recently started chest exercises in the hope that I can reduce the cup size, here’s hoping…

I went from 18st a 44ff in April 24 to 9st 10 in Feb 25. Maintenance since then. Had a tummy tuck at 6 months maintenance. Best decision I ever made as was still in clothes of size 20 around the middle which looked ridiculous with a size 8/10 rest of body. Boobs are 32 c but look like spaniels ears .. no exercise will put the volume back. So back I go for a lift and small implants.

I’m not on MJ but as a pear, weight always comes off my boobs first when I lose it, when I’d rather keep them but lose my bum and thighs. Maybe we could swap?

The fact that the band is still large indicates that you are still overweight so I think just have to keep on going

For me, my bust fat is the last to go. Shrunk a few inches off by doing loads and loads of chest work in gym. Still larger busted than I would like though

Chest work is not something I've considered yet. I'm mostly housebound so the gym is out, but I'll look up what exercises I can do at home. I do have weights but it's going to take a while to build up strength to be able to lift much (previous health issues)

Yes, me!! Went from bursting (literally) out of a 34 EE to a 28 D/ 30 C, depending on bra make. For me, it has been one of the best things about my weight loss. I am only 5 feet tall so looked particularly ‘endowed’ which made me feel very self-conscious.

I use a Pilates ring at home while watching tv, it’s great

I was a 40hh at 16 stone something. Ive lost 5 stone and gone down to a 38H. I can't see me going down much more in the bra size area as I was always 36g at ten and a half stone with is my goal weight and I reckon that's what I'll be again.

Interesting to read about the chest work though. Im going to go back and have a proper read of the thread now.

I went from a 36G to a 30B. I was left with flaps of skin.

I am now a 30DD courtesy of a wonderful surgeon. 😅

They have got smaller, but no idea what size i am now. In fact nearly had a mini breakdown in M&S trying hundreds of bras on and none of them feel right

And why do bra shops insist of joiningg the 3 pack of t-shirt bras together so you can try the sodding things on properly??

I agree, it’s a much more youthful look too. Bras give me a nice shape, uplifted and perky and my clothes are now streamlined as my tummy is flat . The big belly and big bust sitting atop it is really ageing and difficult to dress.

i see so many comments about wli making you look older and always think you’ve got to be shitting me, the big belly and big matronly bust is as ageing as it gets, and there is nothing youthful about double chins and jowls.

I’m a typical apple shape with weight around my middle and boobs and smaller arms, legs and a flat bum.

My tummy and boobs have been the most stubborn to shrink. My bum which was flat anyway seemed to shrink first which didn’t seem fair!

I’m in the healthy BMI range now and my boobs are now finally smaller. I started as an F cup and am a DD now, still big but much more manageable. On the plus side they haven’t got saggy unlike my bum 🙈

Started with a 42HH and now a 32G. Much smaller volume wise to before with the significant band size reduction, but they do need a good bra to get a decent shape (I am in my 50s so to be expected). It took a while to start going down the bra (and clothes, especially tops) sizes.

Exactly as @GiveMeWordGames said, cup sizes are relative. A 32GG is the same cup volume as a 36F - down one cup size for every band size you go up.
