All my life my DD has bullied me with passive aggressive comments, put downs and ways to make me feel I am a complete failure and incompetent. I tried my best when she was younger, she is 49 now and lives a long way away. We have helped her many ways financially, buying a house, paying off debts, but the comments continue. I am at a loss as to what to do. I see her from time to time because she has a son I want to keep contact with, he is only nine and a dear little chap. She is a single parent She made her dad cry on his last visit when he was summoned to help with various household tasks, plumbing etc, nothing trivial. We are both in our 70s now and not in the best of health, I had a major operation recently and nit once did she ask how I was recovering I for one do not really want to see her any more as I feel bullied and mentally downtrodden. She is very clever and holds down a high up professionally demanding job. We had ordinary jobs, are retired now, but our children never went without. Our adult son says she is toxic and won’t see her. I don’t expect answers, just a hand hold as we are visiting soon and I know I will leave on the verge of tears and my DH may actually be in tears. People will say I did something wrong as there is no smoke without fire. I cannot talk to her as every comment is met with a passive aggressive comments, or even sneers, so I remain ignorant of my past crimes. All my contact now is is stay on good terms with her DS who is a delight. I just need a handhold as I am full of dread. We are taking them out for a meal which we will pay for in its entirety, she will not offer to pay anything towards it despite being a high earner and us on a pension. Sorry to drip feed and moan! My sons wife said she is the most toxic person she has ever met.

I used Bolt in December for 1 month. The only reason I didn’t get a repeat order was because they weren’t offering a discount on subsequent orders so I moved on.

Their initial assessment was a little frustrating in that I completed an online form and was then sent separate emails asking for the same info again. The order was approved and dispatched within 3 days though.

@Sillyme1you need to start your own thread.

I used Bolt for my last order, as the discount made it very worthwhile as a new customer.
i found registering & ordering fine. From ordering to order arriving it was only about 4 days. Was quite impressed.
I will shop around for cheapest option for next order, so probably won’t use them again, as won’t get the big new customer discount again.

DottyMcDiet · 11/02/2026 19:41

I used them once, found them to be straightforward and efficient with a quick delivery.

I haven’t used them again as the discount was for new users. No one seems to reward loyalty 🙄

Yes I also used them for the first time in December, super impressed at their service and will use again.

I found them quite frustrating to deal with- they needed a couple of bits of extra information (which is fine, I’d prefer a place to be thorough with prescribing this stuff) but didn’t inform me, they just put it all on hold and then when I emailed they’d be like “oh yeah, we need this”. It ended up taking a few weeks because they’d never initiate contact to say whether what I sent was ok or if they needed something else, I had to nudge them every step of the way.

Bolt was the first pharmacy I bought from.
Their customer service is awful if something goes wrong. I had to get my credit card company to do a “charge back” for me because Bolt refused to refund unusable pens.
I would very much recommend avoiding them.

itsquitelate · 12/02/2026 08:29

I used them once as their first month’s discount is very good but their over-the-top advertising claiming to be ‘the cheapest’ has since put me off. Their regular pricing is pretty much the same price as anywhere else.

So far the cheapest I’ve found is Medicine Marketplace - they seem to be consistently about £15 cheaper than most places.

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 12/02/2026 08:35

I used them recently for my first dose of wegovy after being on MJ for a year. They didnt ask for anything outrageous and were quick to prescribe and post out.

No issues from me and happy to recommend them. I have a discount code.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 12/02/2026 08:44

I’ve used them for 3 pens now. No issues - all fairly slick- and they sent me a £10 voucher this time

HannahMarin · 12/02/2026 09:37

I did my first order with them yesterday so no approval yet!

I was on MJ last year for a number of months, I'm now in a healthier BMI - just over 27. I do have chronic back pain so hoping this counts as a commodity that will get me approved so I can start again, shift the extra weight and then maintain.

I've read on here they are quite good for maintenance, but I'm not sure 5 months off and a lower BMI they will class it as maintenance or class me as a new starter! We shall see.

No problems so far though & easy to use via their website.

I used Monj comparison for a discount so £104 for 2.5mg.
