I've just ordered my second dose of Mounjaro through Oushk Pharmacy. It says about a weight consultation video, I did one for my first order but do I need to do another one each time I order?

Don't want to book one in if I don't need to 🥹 thanks

No you don't - they will tell you if you need to book another one

FurForksSake · 09/02/2026 15:09

Should be fine, I think it wouldn’t let me order when I needed to do one. They’ll get in touch if you need to.

You might want want to shop around, oushk aren’t the cheapest.

HotChocCreamAndMarshmallows · 09/02/2026 15:26

They’re every six months. Just had my follow up one today! I ordered last week but got an email afterwards saying I needed to book a call before they could complete the order.

Oushk and their clear as mud website and requirements 🤦🏻‍♀️

In your account there should be a note of your last video weight verification under consultations, you need to do these every 6 months. They usually remind you after 5 months to get one booked in.

You need to do a quick online consultation with each order and add a new photo to that every 3 months. Otherwise if there has been a recent photo added you can skip by it.

Once you get to maintenance it is even more confusing 🤦🏻‍♀️

At the top of your dashboard, the box for video consultation will go red when you need to do another one.

I'm thinking of starting with Oushk, my first foray into WLIs. If you start with them at a BMI of 30 but lose weight and want to change providers and your BMI is down to say 26, will other providers accept you because this weight is under the 27 & comorbidities rule? Thanks

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 17/02/2026 13:39

Yes they will / lotus and bolt were fine at bmi’s below 27…

had to provide photo of previous prescription/box label as well as photos of me front and side but both fine

SilenceInside · 17/02/2026 13:54

@CherryRipe1 the criteria (BMI 30+ or 27+ with a weight related health condition/specific ethnicities) are the starting criteria. Once you have a prescription you can then change pharmacies, as the PP says you just show evidence of the previous prescription label alongside the other photos etc that they may request. I have recently changed pharmacies with a BMI of 25 with no issue at all.

@putthehamsterbackinitscage@SilenceInside Ah thank you both so much, got it now! I bet you get fed up with constant questions from newbies! This morning my weight had dropped a bit to 29.5 BMI without clothes,so overweight, just shy of obese but weighing myself at night I'll probably be 30 ish. I have a health related condition, Spondylosis, so think I might be accepted.

Thanks so much guys! I didn't need to do another video call just a small questionnaire/ assessment type thing!

ive just finished my 4 weeks and I'm 11lbs down and already lost 2 inches off my waist, so happy. However the past 2 weeks I've been really struggling with the urge to want to snack and the food suppression really hasn't kicked in so I'm now starting 5mg to see how I get on 😊
