How can I get a 7.5 pen?

Oh dear I've been taking 7.5 mgs of mountjaro for ages but I only take it when I feel I'm starting to overeat. So could be weekly or even monthly.
So I bought a few pens before the price hike but they are finally running out.
Now prescribers are telling me I need to start again at 2.5 mgs but I know this will not be effective.
Any suggestions on where I could get a 7.5mgs pen or will I just have to go cold turkey.
I e lost 5 stones and am keeping it off I can't bear to start again

Just tell them you panic bought a 4 month supply. That’s what a lot of people did.

How long since your last purchase? Plenty just need a picture of your last box. I agree tell them you stocked up before the price surge.

No I already sent them the information but because I have been spacing out the doses it's a no no!!
I've been doing this for absolutely ages but maybe time fora rethink .
The small dose won't work for me .

Try Lloyd's, I had the same issue with buying a 3 pack of pens in August, Lloyd's just wanted to know last dose and when last taken. Tried with Bolt but they wanted photos, explanations and copies of previous prescriptions

If you still have a week or two at 7.5, just order the 2.5 asap, and then the 5 and just use them to give you the doses or maybe a tiny bit less until you're back at 7.5.

Agree, order a 2.5, then two weeks later order a 5, together they make a 7,5. Then you can order a 7,5.

If you’re taking 7.5mg monthly then you’re spending a lot of time with virtually nothing in your body. You’d be far better off taking a smaller dose weekly. It makes no sense to say this wouldn’t work for you, Taking 2.5mg weekly for example,would give you a higher level generally overall.

I haven’t ordered since August and got 2 pens last week , I mistakenly told then that I’d been spacing my doses ( 12 days ish ) and got told not allowed but I said I’d go back to weekly ( I haven’t ) and got prescribed . This issue will reoccur for me in 4/5 months time but I’ll cross that bridge then .
Lloyds and farmacie were the companies that sent me pens for info . And 10mg pens

You’re going from almost zero MJ in your body to a massive dose of 7.5mg once every few weeks? That sounds extremely unscientific and potential dangerous! Have you not heard of pancreatitis?

Have you discussed this with your GP? Surely, you’d be better off taking 2.5mg weekly?

Ahh thankyou re the advice I'll try the providers you mentioned. Economically might be better to take a smaller dose more often.
This way was working for me probably for the last 18 months -2 years.

I actually started with wegovy in 2022 so an early adopter and zero problems with side effects.

I just feel that I'm on this for life now as my self control goes out the window once the drug wears off. Despite changing my diet and exercise since 2022.

Taking 2.5 weekly will be similar if not better than taking 7.5 randomly. In any case once you've done one month you can go up to 5 and take that weekly, which will definitely be better than taking 7.5 randomly.

Not sure if you'll be able to do that. I stopped in August and when I tried to go back onto it I had issues because I hadnt had a prescription in the last 12 weeks and my supplier at the time said I couldnt start again because my BMI was too low. I then went with Voy who said I absolutely could be on it again despite my BMI, had to go back to 2.5 which is fine because for me 2.5 is ok. I've got a 5mg pen and they will send me a 7.5 after that and I'm going to keep just taking 2.5 so I've got a good few months supply that way.
