Anyone on Diet Chef?

(apologies if this is not the correct category)

Has anyone tried Diet Chef to lose weight? I want to lose two stones but I'm not the right profile for the injections (and wouldn't be keen anyway).

I'm thinking of trying Diet Chef because I lack the discipline of counting calories myself. So this seems like a good option.

I'd appreciate any first-hand views. Thank you!

I used it for a few months about 4-5 years ago. Honestly the meals were not nice and the choice was very limited at that time so you’d end up having the same thing over and over. As with other diet foods I was starving all the time and didn’t sustain any loss.

It felt like highly processed food and I guess my tastes have swapped to fresher options these days.

In order to lose weight and keep it off you have to change what you eat Diet Chef will be a temporary fix and when top using you will probably go back to your old eating patterns.
As someone who yo yo diet for many years I would use things like Diet Chef but it wouldn’t help me change my way of eating. You will have to put in the time and effort if you want to keep your weight off
Look at ways of eating healthier, portion sizes and exercise.

Thank you. It doesn't sound great but other options where you get ready meals are so expensive (not that Diet Chef is cheap!).

I used them to lose a lot of weight about 10 years ago. It worked really well for me as I didn't have to think about what to eat. Some of the dinners were ok but I got very sick of the lunchtime soups. When I stopped the weight stayed off for a while but as with most things like this because I hadn't actually addressed my underlying bad eating habits it piled back on slowly but surely.
