Anyone using Ozempic 0.25 mg injection?

Hi everyone, I wanted to start a discussion to hear real experiences from people who have used Ozempic 0.25 mg injection. I understand that 0.25 mg is usually the starting dose, mainly prescribed for type 2 diabetes, and sometimes mentioned in conversations around appetite or weight changes, and I’m not looking for medical advice, just hoping to learn from others’ personal journeys. How did you feel during the first few weeks on 0.25 mg, did you notice any changes in appetite, energy, or weight, and were there any side effects at the beginning that settled over time? I’m especially interested in how people balanced it with everyday habits like eating patterns, hydration, or light activity. Thanks so much to anyone willing to share, reading real experiences really helps.

I’ve just had my 3rd 0.25 jab. I would say that I haven’t felt any side effects whatsoever. I’m anticipating this may change when I move up to 0.5!

I’ve definitely felt less bothered about food, but have consciously tried to up my protein intake. Discovering clear protein has helped with this.

So far I’ve lost 4.5lbs in just over 2 weeks, which I’m extremely happy with!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience 😊 That’s really encouraging to hear you’ve had no side effects so far, especially after the 3rd 0.25 jab!

Losing 4.5lbs in just over 2 weeks is amazing — well done

It’s also really helpful that you mentioned protein intake and clear protein, I’ve been trying to focus on that too because I keep hearing it makes a big difference.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you notice the appetite change straight away or did it take a week or so? And have you had any tiredness at all?

Good luck when you move up to 0.5 — I’d love to hear how you get on when you increase the dose!

I lost about 3.5kg on my first month at 0.25. It is not meant to be a weight loss dose, a more getting your body used to it dose but it worked for me. My appetite fell immediately but that may be due to getting bad heartburn rather than the appetite suppressant effect taking place. I’m now on 1ml starting my third month and have lost 7.5kg. The weight is falling off and if it continues, I don’t intend to go up another dose.

Side effects were burping, bad heartburn and a small bit of nausea, but this all passed and could be easily managed with OTC medicine.

And yes to protein- some days I barely want to eat so I try and make it mainly protein and fibre.

Your posts are both quite oddly worded. Are you conducting research for something?

I lose about 1 kg a week on Wegovy. My golden dose is 1 mg. 0.25 does very little but it floors some people.
