Swapping monthly - what it costs me

I was on MJ last year, but stopped at summer when I went on holiday. I hadn’t got down TT my ideal weight, but thought since I was off it after my holiday that I’d have a go at going alone and see if I could lose the remainder without it. The prices increase also coincided with me coming back from my holiday. Anyways, I was able to maintain, but wasn’t able to lose, so I’ve decided to go back on MJ.

I’ve decided to jump around with providers, and so thought people may be interested in how I find it - whether easy or a faff. Plus it gives me an idea of what I’m paying.

Last year, I was on IQ doctor and paid the following prices (I used a code each month)
£111 2.5mg
£115 5mg
£143 7.5mg

Will update with who I switch to

Month 1
Farmeci £104 2.5mg
I had to add photos of my ID and a selfie in a full length mirror when buying. A couple of days later, I got a message saying that they needed to verify my bmi, and so I had to send a video of myself in the mirror again holding my ID, and stepping on scales. It then took about 5 days to arrive over a weekend. I’d forgotten to say I didn’t need a sharps bin, but one didn’t arrive with the order anyways.

Month 2
Pharmacy2U 5mg £127
Felt like there wasn’t as many questions or steps with this one. Purchased without having to upload anything at the time, and then got a separate email with a link asking for ID and a video of myself stepping on scales and showing the weight. Ordered on Thursday, video requested and sent off on Friday, Sat had an email to say it would be delivered on Sunday. Easy to switch and worth it to save the £50 if I’d have stuck to Farmaci.

I’ve just reordered 2.5mg after 8 weeks off with Pharmacy2u at £103 but this is helpful thank you. I finished my previous 7.5mg pen in November.

Would you mind sharing how restarting has worked for you? Slower losses or similar to your first time? I’m skeptical it will work second time around, read varying things but trying to be positive!

I lost 4.5 stone last year, around 2lbs per week. I went on a couple of holidays and had Xmas etc and put the half back on. I’m three weeks in to 2.5mg and I’ve lost 4lbs over that, but I don’t feel like it’s properly kicked in and I’m ready for the higher dose and would have gone straight back on 5mg if I could.

Keep me posted, I’ve just injected this evening, 2.5mg so will see what tomorrow brings in terms of appetite. 4lbs off for you means it’s doing something at least, so staying hopeful - for us both 🤞🏼😀
