Bleeding between periods on MJ

Hi, I’ve been using MJ for just over 4 months and periods have been normal so far.

However, this morning I started bleeding bright red blood, heavier than spotting- more like a light period but so bright red. My last period finished just over a week ago.

Has anyone experienced similar? I’m hoping it’s related to MJ, weight loss or even a new perimenopause symptom but it’s worrying as I’ve never experienced this before.

I’ll be calling the Dr in the morning but just trying to put my mind at rest in the meantime.

I’ve been on Mounjaro for 8 weeks and had a doctors appointment on Friday because of painful sex and now bleeding between periods.
It isn’t a known side effect of Mounjaro and could be because of so many reasons.. Peri Menopause, Endometriosis, Polyps, the only person who can really tell you is a doctor/gyne.
I know it’s worrying but try not to jump to the worst case scenario.

My period cycle has gotten shorter - have been on jabs since oct. But then am also perimenopausal - so likely to be that I guess.

Yes I think that’s common in peri to get longer or shorter cycles. Mine are much lighter in peri.
