Anyone else gone back to mj this year?

Hello,
I was on mj last year for 6 months
I stopped as I was at my goal weight and loosing a lot of hair and the price hikes.

I gained 10-11kg back, through my own fault as all the learned habits went out the window as my life went to shit.

I'm now back on 2.5 and wondering if I should even bother? I have lost 2kg since I started but that's it
I have had no side effects and no suppression, my hunger and "food noise" is the exact same pre mj. So I don't know why I'm paying 100 to feel the exact same 😂
Maybe because I don't have as much to lose this time around?

Anyone else gone back to it that can advise please?

I am. I have maintained MJ free for 9 months at 56kg but have been unwell and on high dose steroids for the last 3 months. Illness kept my weight low but now I’m going into remission the weight is piling on at an alarming rate even though I’m not eating all that badly! I’ve gained 3kg in 2 weeks and am now at 58.5kg and feel gross.

I have 2 pens in the fridge that I bought before the price hike for emergencies. This is the emergency!

I plan to start tonight at 1.25mg as I am super sensitive. I lost 3 stone on a max dose of 3.75mg but mostly at 2.5mg. I am still weaning off the steroids and am aware they might cancel out the MJ but I’ll adjust based on how I feel.

Id just like to get back to and remain at 56kg without feeling so gross.

2.5 is a half dose. And with no novelty factor so less mental drive to lose the weight, you probably need to move up to feel the real effects of the drugs, as 2.5 is not even therapeutic, ie it has no therapeutic effect on blood sugars etc.

I know what works for me but thank you.

this is not correct information, 2.5mg is a starting dose to get your body used to the medication, not a half dose.

Who are you talking to? I was responding to the op as is the Norm on threads unless you quote the person or @ them.

It is correct, it’s a half dose to initiate treatment, the first full therapeutic dose is 5mg,

half of 5 is 2.5

edit, also el Lilly class rhe full doses as 5, 10 and 15, with the rest as half dose step ups,

No, been on mj since March 2025 and I plan to stay on it for life. I’ve lost just over 7st, 1 more to goal, then titrate down to maintenance.

I took my first dose back last night. Feel a bit achy and queasy this morning but not ravenous do that’s a huge win! Weighed in this morning at 58.95kg so a 3kg gain in 2 weeks! Damn steroids!
