HeySlim - warning

Ordered one pen with HeySlim because the price was good.

Minimal checks aside from a photo of the previous prescription, which of course could be falsified. I don't think that's great.

But my big issue is communications. I've unticked the box to allow them to contact me and I've emailed them specifically to ask not to be contacted any more and they said they would stop.

But, I'm getting DAILY 'your next order is due' emails, and also texts! These don't have an unsubscribe or STOP option.

Really annoying. I've emailed again.

I would highly recommend avoiding in spite of the cheaper prices, there are lots of other suppliers.

Just auto send to junk, no big deal right.

Did the pen arrive ok tho with everything?

MyDarlingClement · 19/01/2026 18:38

Pen was fine but packaging not as good as Oushk, not cooled as well.
It's not the biggest deal, but it's not compliant with GDPR rules and is quite annoying.
If an organisation is slack on this kind of thing my experience is that they will generally bend rules, which isn't what I'm looking for in a medication provider - therefore I wouldn't recommend them.

I think everyone has different tolerances for this sort of thing. Many folks like a reminder, others don’t. Others just set an inbox rule to move the mails to trash. It’s clear you’ve no tolerance, so I’d move to another provider, but you may have th4 same issue, it’s less about bending the rules and more about their automated systems.

@Daisywhatsyouranswer I'm not sure why you're engaging with this? Just to tell me I'm making too big a deal of it?
It's daily texts AND emails with no option to opt out, that's not normal (or legal), or just a reminder. It's also not what other providers do.
Do feel free to go ahead and order from them yourself if you want to, no one is stopping you!

Yeah sounds spammy. Send their email address to spam, report and block number texting you as spam (if you can).

As more customers do this, they'll end up blocked network wide. No opt out is very poor.
