Delaying starting WG

I received my first pen today but given I am going on holiday in two weeks for three weeks I am thinking of not starting until I return from holiday. This is due to potential side effects and needing to carry and store the pen appropriately if I take it on holiday (long haul so would need to keep it cool for a long journey as well as whilst away)
i ordered from MedExpress so would need to order my second pen in 9 weeks if I start after the holiday. Will MedExpress take me through the process again like it was my first order? I’m borderline for BMI so worried I wouldn’t qualify if the gap is too large and I have to start again. Anyone had any similar experience?

I know I could just order again as soon as I return from holiday and have a spare pen but the dose might need to change? Also how is it decided if you go up a dose? Do you just request an increased dose if side effects are manageable? Any advice would be appreciated.

Once you use the pen it's OK at room temperature. I went up a dose when it stopped being effective.

I would wait until after your holiday in case you have any side effects. With my supplier I have chosen my dose and only increased it when I felt my weight loss was stalling. For me, minimum dose with efficacy was what I wanted. Slow and steady. I’m not in a rush. Others prefer to increase their dose as fast as possible to speed up their weight loss. It’s personal preference depending upon side effects, effectiveness and how you feel about it.

I’m with MedExpress for now and have since found on their website as long as you reorder within 8 weeks you can stay on the same dose or go up a dose. So I will start after my holiday and order another dose after I have been on the injections for 2 weeks which should be enough time to have an idea about side effects and whether I need to go up a dose.
