New 7mg Wegovy dose

It was listed as soon to come in my online pharmacy. Heard its for people who are on track but need a little bit more to loose more weight.

I think soon MJ and W will see the same results.

Have you heard a date? Last I heard it was early-mid 2026. I am not on Wegovy, but the jump from 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1.0mg, 1.7mg, 2.4mg all the way to 7.2mg sounds massive.

What I would love to see is Novo Nordisk release the pen at that strength, but give instructions and flexibility to partial dose (with or without pharmacy supports). If they are saying a jump from 2.4mg to 7.2mg is perfectly safe, partial dosing must be too. And I believe their pens are ok 6 weeks from opening so give customers the ability to choose to use for 4 weeks or 6 weeks (or longer if they have tested it)

It would be as simple as putting 3mg, 4mg etc markers on the dial. That would, at the right price point, attract some patients away from Eli Lilly.

I haven't studied it as I am a long way from considering it. I'm sure there's been testing and perhaps it's such a big jump because that's the next effective dose and smaller increments had no impact. It will be interesting to see what the price point will be.
