Just took my first dose of wegovy. Side effects are instant. Headache and nausea. At least I don't want to eat anything.

Which free app is good for simple tracking of dose/date/current weight?

Nutracheck is fab for tracking weight and calories.

Good luck I've lost 7 syone on MJ this year.

I use the free version of the shotsy app I record doses and weight. There is also a space to record side effects. I think you can record other things too such as water intake and calories too on there.

I use the app on my Renpho scales/tape measure for daily weigh ins, and monthly measurements.

The free version of MFP for weekly weigh ins and when I feel I need to tracking calories/macros.

Water reminder for …..water reminders.

And love excel (pictures) to bring everything together - weight, losses, bmi, TDEE, bmr, projected weight loss, pen, dose, injection site etc etc. Any notes on side effects, orders, costs, prices, click charts, milestones achieved etc. Graphs. Excel is my go to for information, no app compares.

I use Shotsy and Dose Diary. Both excellent for tracking jabs and weight and estimating levels. Happy Scale and Libra for weight tracking. I love an app 😆

I like Glapp. Can track jabs, medication levels and weight in one place.

I discovered semaglutide journey and it's also a free and very simple app. No annoying ads or reminders to sign up for a subscription.

I used nutracheck. Very simple to use and has a bar code scanner. It seems to have every single food item and meals out. It track protein, fibre, calories etc and gives you targets to hit each day. I am using the paid version .

@VioletandMauve have you found the apps agree on levels or do they differ?

Dose diary seems to estimate higher levels for me having input the same data….

I use Glucopal to record treatment and my scales are linked to Withings which is good for trends.

Yes for some reason Dose Diary shows higher levels than Shotsy I don’t know why, so I estimate somewhere in the middle.

Thanks - I did find a bit of an explanation of the differences on line as well- it’s around the assumptions of how quickly each dose is absorbed, and the way in which it is processed and also limited data points in 24 hours used for the calcs.

I guess the key thing is to use 1 of them and stick to it so in relative terms the numbers won’t be affected and you are comparing like with like.

@putthehamsterbackinitscage not sure if you’ve already seen this site but it’s a really good way to plot future or even past doses.
