Hi,

I’m looking at the price comparison chart on monj.co.uk and some of the prices wildly differ. I find myself wanting to go for a mid priced provider, rather than the cheapest ones, but I’m not sure why really. The names I’ve heard the most about tend to be on the higher side. Is anyone using Get Weightloss, Medicine Marketplace etc that appear to be cheaper than some of the others. Are there benefits with going with any particular provider, or do you have a recommendation for the one you’re using? Can any use discount codes each month, rather than a one off sign up code?

Thanks!

Honestly I couldn’t be arsed with the faff and I’m just getting mine from the local chemist.
its not the cheapest but can pick it up at my convenience, had a full consultation, get weighed monthly and any problems with the pen or needles are dealt with immediately

SilenceInside · 29/12/2025 11:35

The biggest discount will be for a new customer sign up and you won’t be able to use those sorts of discounts more than once. Some places do a smaller discount for subsequent orders, but they are usually much less. Some others do a referral discount where if someone else uses your referral code to sign up then you get a discount on your next order. But the issue with that is finding someone to use your referral code.

I don’t know anything about Get Weightloss but I know that many people use Medicine Marketplace without any issue.

I have never had an issue with the pens or the needles in 18 months on Mounjaro, and I am happy to weigh myself at home. I would not want to have to speak to someone in person about my weight loss so I’m much happier with an online service.

I am currently using SwiftDoctor who have been fine so far.

Myself and friends use Ashcroft pharmacy.. no problems at all... been 14 months now.

Maybe have a look at the Trust Pilot ratings on the monj site. It's the last column on the right after the 15mg prices.

JMSA · 29/12/2025 14:16

I haven’t stuck with the same provider twice. Yes, it’s a minor hassle, but I’d rather save some money. Most recent is Bolt and it was very smooth.

RetirementTimes · 29/12/2025 16:14

Discount codes are a pain in the arse and more hassle than they are worth. I am with Pharmulous

Thanks, I haven’t scrolled that far across to see that.

I’ve always used ASDA (ordered 20 pens so far). I shared my 10% off code once on here (on official discount code thread) well over a year ago and got loads banked from that. I don’t think they offer that anymore but given 15 mg is £300 ish now they are worth £30 each to me - reducing cost down to around £270. I’ve got about another two years worth banked.
I regularly get code emailed from them for £10 or £20 off but you cannot use those in conjunction with my 10% so I never get to use them.

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 29/12/2025 17:10

I use Pharmulous and they've been good. Among the cheapest without having to change every month.

If you're happy to change every month the ones that are really more pricy have huge discounts for the first month so you can save that way.

I wanted one thatt supports long term loss too although lots do now and tbh it wouldn't be too hard to switch when you get closer to a healthy bmi.

A part of me would be tempted by a local chemist if it was a good price but ours is Asda and quite a lot more. (£40 a month more for 10mg) and ease of picking up wasn't worth that to me. It depends if you're worried about it being on your doorstep etc.

But really they're all kind of similar.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 29/12/2025 17:33

I’ve been on MJ a year now and used several different providers. Eventually settled on medicine marketplace as they’re one of the cheapest and I’ve had better service from them than any of the others, really good communication, quick turnaround and free delivery (often next day). Would recommend them.

Lillipops · 29/12/2025 17:35

I’ve just moved to Juniper, I was very impressed with their service and very quick delivery even over Xmas. I do have a discount code if you need one you will get an addition discount on your first order

morbidcuriosity · 29/12/2025 17:39

Go for the cheapest while you can. 1st order discount each time. I've used med express, asda, simple online pharmacy, zava, iq doctor, I think a couple more. Its only now I've chosen pharmalous to stick with as bmi now 21.5 so in maintence.
Might as well save money as they ain't cheap. It's the same drug whichever pharmacy you choose..

Fatmumslim01 · 29/12/2025 17:41

I switch most months to get the best price. I've used Asda, medexpress, chemist4u and we prescribe. Recently I've been sticking with WePrescribe as they offer 10% repeat order discount which although isn't as cheap as switching to a new place, it saves the faff of doing pics etc

CreepyDibillo · 29/12/2025 17:46

If you're just starting out, I'd definitely take advantage of the new customer discounts. I changed every month until recently. I've just signed up with Pharmulous as I'm close to target and my research led me to believe they're the best option for me for maintenance. The standard pricing is pretty good too.
If a supplier is listed on monj, they're a legit licensed pharmacy so you will be fine.

SexyFrenchDepression · 29/12/2025 17:51

Pharmacy2u have an amazing deal at the moment, it was under £100 for 2.5mg pen for new customers yesterday. I have shared my referral code and got £225 banked to use towards my next purchases. They are super efficient also.

Lotus have good regular customer deals also. Bolt were cheap when I looked on the monj site yesterday also.

JMSA · 29/12/2025 18:55

I can’t help but think that suppliers are missing a trick here. There must be lots of customers like me out there, who value savings above convenience. Why not lure us in with a flat fee every month?

Chinsupmeloves · 29/12/2025 18:59

Voy, not the cheapest and I should change with a discount code. Good though and I'm planning on it being temporary for 6 months. Xx

100%. I have started switching to get the cheapest and will now continue to do so. If one pharmacy offered a better regular discount then I would probably stick with them to save the hassle.

RobinEllacotStrike · 29/12/2025 19:21

I’ve used The Family Chrmist for 15 months. Never changed. They always seem to be competitively priced.

LadyLolaRuben · 29/12/2025 19:59

Asda, I have it delivered to their pharmacy so I can collect it on my way home from work each month. They're open until 9pm so its very convenient

lucie62 · 29/12/2025 20:10

I’ve been using Oushk since my BMI was under 30. They’ve been really good and have great maintenance plans

FussyFancyDragon · 29/12/2025 20:16

I hadn’t considered changing each month, but I’ll maybe give that a go and use all of the discounts up, then settle with one of the better priced ones for maintenance.
