Hi all,

I am very close to starting some kind of weight loss jab. My weight is really getting to me.

can anyone tell me if I should go via Voy? Or is this just another charge which won’t make much difference. Sorry, I’m confused !

Well, they offer “support” with apparently coaching and access to a team, but it’s very unclear from their website exactly what that means. They offer a 3 or 6 month subscription that will cost you to cancel, and you should check what each month’s payment would be before signing up. Usually the new customer discount is just for the first month.

Do you want a support and coaching subscription service? It’s more expensive than just ordering the medication from an ordinary online pharmacy. Have a look at the price comparison site Monj.co.uk to see the price differences between pharmacies.

It didn’t cost me to cancel. I just gave one weeks notice.

I was with them for the first two or three months. They did a good discount at first. I liked that they had a lot of support (dietitians and clinicians) in case I got bad side effects (ironically I’ve not had the slightest SE in six months!). I loved the online aspects - the meal analyser is great (I love the balanced plate theory rather than counting calories), and their AI advisor, Joy, is brilliant. She’ll find recipes, meal plans, picnic ideas, shopping lists, whatever you need in seconds. You do get an initial phone call with a real dietician at the start, plus regular online follow ups with them, but I found the AI much better. Voy was basically like a diet club crossed with a pharmacy. But they got very expensive and I decided to pharmacy surf. I’m amazed and delighted that I can still use all the AI stuff on the app.
If you’re not bothered about support or back up and can deal with all that you might experience on MJ without much back up then you don’t really need something like Voy.
